Hello Taranta. Thank you for your video. I have a quick question for you. Will this trick work on a Chevy Impala 2000? Hope you will answer my question. Thanks.
Forgot to mentioned that a new fuel pump was installed about 4 months ago. I checked all the fuses and they are okay. I also checked the fuel relay and the crank relay and they are good. I have swapped other similar relays and same results, no crank. I tested the fuel pump and it seems to be working as well. Any suggestions. Thanks a lot.
@@Roman-rb3cz you didn't mention the main thing: the battery! Many chevy impalas are used by the police and later sold, some come with cuts in the cables due to the audio, light, camera and alarm installations, sometimes the cables are tied badly, they are loose or they ground and the car does not start. It is something simple but very difficult to find, because even with a computer, the computer tells you that the circuit is open, but it doesn't tell you where.
@@taranta Battery is fully charged. Battery is 3 months old. Bought car in 2004. Fuel gauge, radio, windows, lights, horn, fan, starter, and everything I can think of works. But it won't start. I will be shock if my car is a former police car. This is the very basic base model of 2004 and the color is red.
I don’t have that problem or experienced a issue where I could use it, but I keep learn things, as we all should, because one day it will happened, anyway that’s how I am and believe, my question is beside may the key ignition being damaged, what problems would you be having , where this would help someone, can you share what reason or problem is happening, that this would help ?
Yes, the problem can be many and they can happen, between the ignition cylinder and the fuse panel there are many components that affect the starting of the engine, the defective cylinder, an open wire or a ground wire, light, air conditioning, the horn, a blown fuse among other things.
taranta now that I think about it, when I lived in Houston Texas, I worked installing floors and had a 87 Ford F-150 502cu v8 if was a beast, no matter what problem it had, there was a way to bypass the issue and it get me to the job site, but what happened one day, I turned the key and it started but when I released the key, it keeped turning the starter like I was holding the key to start it, I quickly pop the hood and disconnected the battery at that time I had no idea what caused that and didn’t know how to start the truck, I don’t remember if someone told me or I came up with the solution, so I would put the key in the on position and open the hood and the Solenoid was right by the battery on the inside fender and I would bridge a connection from the solenoid, that was back in 2003, I found out later it was because of the battery was shot out.
@@dannymartinez8314 Yes, before they started the car when the ignition cylinders had problem, they left the key on, made a bridge with a screwdriver in that solenoid and started the car.
Hi I am a woman and called AAA change the new battery and still not start it . And my machanic not show up But this tip work for me. Very very good . Thank you so much . 👍😉🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The theft deterrent system is armed and the engine will not start. To restore the system ,turn the ignition key to the lock position then to the on position, now press the lock or unlock door button on the driver's door, then turn on the ignition, the car should start.
No my friend, the anti-theft system should work just by inserting the key, unless it is defective. Also, this car in the video does not have an anti-theft system.
This was helpful because my car had a wire running too it when I took the battery off I couldn’t find wire my car won’t start at all no lights on nothing now I need too find that wire again
can you help me? my problem is a have brand new battery and starter motor but car will not start or even turn over engine? are you saying it could be the starter motor relay or circuit thatcould be bad? thanks if you can help
Yes, it is possible, because if the engine does not even turn the problems may be is from the relay to the ignicion cilinder. Before checking the relay, look for the blown fuses, especially the yellow 20 amp ones, there is one that has to do with the air conditioning but also with the starter motor. Good luck.
Nice job man it's like that was the easiest fixed yet that I've watched on how to take care of that ignition problem, my 2002 Pontiac firebird just stopped done that to me and I just imagine that was the ignition relay I'm going to go out and fix mine right now thank you very much
Thank you so much, after using a small air compressor to fill up my tire through the cigarette lighter it blew the cigarette lighter fuse and I'm not sure what else happened but my car wouldn't start, but this got it cranked up and now it cranks without having to use the wire for some reason
My friend if you touch the negative line nothing will happen, remember that the fuse panel is positive, that is, the two places where I touched the cable are positive.
bro amigo really, you just save my truck and my job i can work back again thanks,i just run a 14 gage cable with a push switch if i need it just push the switch, great video
When a fuse blows it is because something is wrong, sometimes it is due to overheating, but other times it is due to something malfunctioning or a short circuit, check that! There are also many problems between the fuse panel, the car to the starter key cylinder that do not allow the car to start.
My friend, I don't know where you saw if I did something with the yellow fuses in the video. I only respond to people to check the yellow fuses, if you have three yellow fuses, check all three to see if any have blown, you can do it with a voltmeter, or visually.
I promise you if you replace the starter fuse/relay, located in the underhood fuse box,the car will be fixed.l tried it all before I got smart. Please replace it, only 15.00 bucks. Just sharing my problem.
I am going to do that tomorrow cuz my truck juice does click but it doesn't start I will try that tomorrow today I am exhausted trying to figure that out
My friend, I should not mention because of responsibility, if someone wants to do it, they should watch the video again and see in which corner it is, the relay works in any position.

Gracias amigo por el tutorial.Saludos desde Suecia.
Gracias, saludos
The theft deterrent system is armed and the engine will not start.
To restore the system ,turn the ignition key to the lock position then to the on position, now press the lock or unlock door button on the driver's door, then turn on the ignition, the car should start.
No my friend, the anti-theft system should work just by inserting the key, unless it is defective. Also, this car in the video does not have an anti-theft system.
@@taranta The above method only applies to vehicle equipped with theft deterrent mobilizer, thanks.
Thank you for making and sharing the video✌
Your welcome.
@@taranta what kind of wire did u use?
@@ashleywagnerwaschleyagner2098 I used a wire from a speaker.
Where is the Starter Fuse relay in Buick Park Ave 2003 ? What number do you spark them together ?
The starter relay is in the fuse panel in the engine compartment, near the battery, check the fuses that have to do with starting the car.
👍learn something new everyday
This was helpful because my car had a wire running too it when I took the battery off I couldn’t find wire my car won’t start at all no lights on nothing now I need too find that wire again
Good luck 👍
Thanks amigo. Great information video. .cheers australia 👍
Thank you.
can you help me? my problem is a have brand new battery and starter motor but car will not start or even turn over engine? are you saying it could be the starter motor relay or circuit thatcould be bad? thanks if you can help
Yes, it is possible, because if the engine does not even turn the problems may be is from the relay to the ignicion cilinder. Before checking the relay, look for the blown fuses, especially the yellow 20 amp ones, there is one that has to do with the air conditioning but also with the starter motor. Good luck.
Thanks for sharing, that's really helpful to know just in case.
Your welcome Gaffar.
Nice job man it's like that was the easiest fixed yet that I've watched on how to take care of that ignition problem, my 2002 Pontiac firebird just stopped done that to me and I just imagine that was the ignition relay I'm going to go out and fix mine right now thank you very much
MexiCAN .thanks for the video
You're welcome, I'm Cuban
i dunno buy what part was replace? the negative battery cable i believe?
My friend, what is the negative cable going to be like? The negative cable is not current, that is, it does nothing.🙂
Thank you so much, after using a small air compressor to fill up my tire through the cigarette lighter it blew the cigarette lighter fuse and I'm not sure what else happened but my car wouldn't start, but this got it cranked up and now it cranks without having to use the wire for some reason
It may have been the relay that stuck, but check all the 20 amp yellow fuses, glad this video helped you.
You touch the other line to the ground right or negative of battery
My friend if you touch the negative line nothing will happen, remember that the fuse panel is positive, that is, the two places where I touched the cable are positive.
bro amigo really, you just save my truck and my job i can work back again thanks,i just run a 14 gage cable with a push switch if i need it just push the switch, great video
Glad to hear that, thank you
How do you go about hooking it up to a switch?
How do I bye pass it so u don't have use the anti theft
Can you do this with Dodge Journey 2010 because I probably have the same issue
This is for GM, I'm not sure it's the same system, so I can't tell you.
NOT do or try this unless you are sure what you are doing, otherwise, you will severely damage your car
You're right!
On a 2003 Acura RSX Type S which fuse or relay would I use. It's a standard and I'm tired of push starting it
Thank you sir. That's mean I shall change the fuse or what's your advice please
When a fuse blows it is because something is wrong, sometimes it is due to overheating, but other times it is due to something malfunctioning or a short circuit, check that! There are also many problems between the fuse panel, the car to the starter key cylinder that do not allow the car to start.
Thanks Amigo U the Man
great video but mine has 3 yellow fuses so i dont know witch one is it
My friend, I don't know where you saw if I did something with the yellow fuses in the video. I only respond to people to check the yellow fuses, if you have three yellow fuses, check all three to see if any have blown, you can do it with a voltmeter, or visually.
That’s the Mexican way 😂😂🤗🤗
He sounds Puerto Rican or Dominican.
Thank you I going to give this a try 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾job well done 😊
Thanks a lot!!!
Did you hook the wire up to the starter relay and the battery?
Yes, from the battery to that corner of the relay, which is the one that activates the "S" terminal of the starter motor.
Sumbody tried stealing my 2012 2500 hd and they broke the engition and anti theft module will that cause my truck to have no electric to it
Thanks for making this video 👍🏽👍🏽
I promise you if you replace the starter fuse/relay, located in the underhood fuse box,the car will be fixed.l tried it all before I got smart. Please replace it, only 15.00 bucks. Just sharing my problem.
Sometimes, replace the fuse fixes the problem temporarily, but if you do not fix what caused the fuse to blow out, it may happen again.
Leon Turner Im having a problem with my 08' Impala...I got a new starter, new battery, and new terminal connections. It still wont start.
taranta 06 The reason my fuse( and some. others) was moisture created by it sitting still on moist concrete outside weeks at a time
I’m going to do that, what you did
I am going to do that tomorrow cuz my truck juice does click but it doesn't start I will try that tomorrow today I am exhausted trying to figure that out
Very good demonstration and to the point. Thank you.
Thank you 👍👍🙏🏼🙏🏼
i love your accent lol
Teflon Don his mexican i guesst haha
Dumb dumb
you did not mention which terminal of the relay, you connected the wire??? 87 or 30?????
My friend, I should not mention because of responsibility, if someone wants to do it, they should watch the video again and see in which corner it is, the relay works in any position.
