I never have been a baseball fan because action is too little and too hot but watching baseball highlights is fun to watch because I see all the action there is without the wait and I stay cool too. fun to watch.
Oof, I nearly forgot about that leaping, non-consensual cut-off from Arenado to get the tag out at third. That's some insane baseball IQ. Good thing his teammates were there to keep up.
9:12 entonces al momento de dar base por bola los jugadores deben quedarse en base supongo, la pelota sigue en juego? me falta aprender mucho del baseball
My big moment in grade school baseball was playing Right Field, acting confused, and carrying the ball I just caught to the baseline. I wasn't sure of my accuracy while throwing it to the Catcher, and the Runner on Third became confused and stopped while people were yelling for him to run Home. Finally, I stopped and threw. Out at Home.
So the batter draws a walk and goes to first base. The runners on first and second advance. The runner that moved from second to third touched the base then stepped off to talk to his coach. The catcher saw it and threw to the third baseman behind the runner to tag out the runner (who was not on the base) out.
I made a diving play in CF for our summer league, and the umpire was the only other one to see that I just missed the ball, rolling over it instead. We managed to pull off an 8-4-3 double play for that
lastings milledge, eh? that dude dateʀaρϵd my sister back in high school. the greatest thing about that is he and the dude he was with got to stay and my sister got expelled... not to mention it was at a christian school, too. being a young star athlete has it's perks, i guess...
Plays like this are why I love baseball. However, the combination of the new, dumbass rules and all of the other stupidity wrapped around these plays makes baseball completely unwatchable for me anymore.

I’m a Padres fan for life, but all respect to Yadi always! Best catcher of my generation!
Are we not gonna talk about how mookie just randomly caught a bat at 1:40 ?
I find plays like these infinitely more exciting than any dunk in basketball or any juke move in football.
Keep ‘em coming! Love your vids!
Great Video!
Baez’ best days were when he was with the cubs! So fun to watch!

Why did the runner freeze on the first play? He has no other choice but to get to second. right?
holy crap anyone else see those like 4 frames of Betts catching a bat tossed at him as he walks to the dugout?
1:46 that umpire calling him safe has one of the best eyes I've ever seen.... great job by the UMP. That was a very close call and he got it right
Angel Hernandez would've likely called him out.
Okay, that move at 0:45 was downright dirty lol

I love smart baseball. It’s amazing how all parties have to be on constant vigilance for these to come to fruition.
Wouldn't you know it: the ONE time Robinson Cano actually hustles, he's out of the batter's box while bunting. 5:37
2:37 How is Baez not out for leaving his running lane?
He never went out he slid to the side
He has three feet

Savage.
Grade school? OK Al Bundy you have quite a career ahead of you.
Mine was bare handing a errant throw at second base for the final out. No thinking just did it. Haven’t out done it yet in 24 years.
I was a catcher. Pretended not to find the ball between my legs and caught the guy stealing home. Good times.
Best moment for me was playing straightaway center field, caught a ball hit to right field at a flat-out run
Fav 4:12
7:35 fake out so good the camera man got duped
If Baez plays like the cubs version of himself on the tigers they could have a good year
6:30 this was a smart play by the baserunner but it makes more sense to do if the runner on 3rd were to go home
How is the guy running to first safe when he ran into the infield to Avoid being tagged out.
Being a cards fan and watching Yadi make plays like that is so joyful. Sad he is gone tho
👍👍👍 HOF first round, gotta be!!
Finished with the goat
Hitting the cutoff man - baseball basics!
1:40 did he just get a bat thrown at him
Yeah just caught it last-second lol
3:58 isn't that a in field fly?
He wasn't camped under the ball and the ball was not hit very high so no infield fly rule was called.
やられた方がサッと諦めるのも気持ちいいね
7:28 "wait just a minute sir"
9:43 how is this play scored? I guess once the runner crosses home the game must be over, so does it matter that they throw to first?
I have same question
Dodgers Giants..why is he not throwing to first? Far easier in my opinion. It was a quick transfer even if it was a fast runner.
I'm an Aussie so help me out please. What happened in the very last clip?

@@SomeGuyIan Cheers Mate. Thanks for that.👍
Yeah they messed up on the suicide squeeze that batter crossed home plate into the opposite batter's box he is automatically out
So what about Aaron Judge..? Is his body gonna wear out and fall into a slump too?
Love this Smart Nifty Plays

The only Pro sport I ever liked, and supported.
And the Cubs traded Baez! Go Figure
5:48 Cano is out. out of box on contact

Don't think. You'll only hurt the ball club.
Why is 3:24 on here?
Cover the bases erases runners.
yo
bud used a intro template
1:46 Baez is better
😊

Lastings Milledge was expelled, wasn't he?
@@Tyler-yy5ds "academically suspended," if i recall correctly.
Im surprised they're allowed to show old Indians' highlights.
