Great video. I have a Nissan Altima 2016 with same problem. But my fuse BCM SW is 5A , I checked and it's not burned. I don't see any other fuse 10A BCM.

Do you have any idea what caused the fuse to blow? I’m a Nissan tech currently dealing with this same issue. C/s they have had all harnesses replaced by Nissan. Same fuse was blown for me as well

i am having same problem with my Nissan Qashqai 1.6 Petrol 2012, i had issue with Airbag fault and i change the clock spring and that fault resolved but ESP light off and slip indicator light stays on. and that button i have in the car for ESP don't work either it might be the fuse blown off, i did diagnostic on my car but there is no fault. my wife has a 2016 rogue with this same issue also has a p2004 intake manifold runner, had the vehicle scanned and it said can-bus communication error in regards to the traction control issue, the light goes off when you turn off and restart so i just restarted the car and left the traction control switch off but I will check this fuse tomorrow.

What can be done if it happens that whenever you switch on a car all dash signs appears and disappears but for VDC and Airbag not seen at all? ? While they should appear and dissapears as others do?

wife Versa did it this morning, her car was bought used and prob in a couple of fender benders. Prob the same situation.... every now and then she gets an air bag light to that come and goes when it want too....

Please, l have a 2012 Nissan Note automatic with same issue. It had an accident and was repaired. I have been driving for over a year and then the spiral clock spring failed. After replacing, this traction light has since remained on the dash. It was scanned at the garage and repaired as it went off. But soon when you drive a few yards, it comes up again. The steering angle sensor has been changed the second time but no positive results. I have watched your video, but l can't locate the particular fuse you are talking about.

Great info. Both my slip indicator light and VDC light are always lit on the dash. I am going to check fuses. I would not have thought of that.
Hi, I own a Nissan qashqai, which is similar to the rogue. I did an engine replacement. Car runs fine, just that there's always a chassis control error, engine idle off(auto start/stop function) does not work and the traction light is always on. Any fixes, diagnostic scan tool can't clear the codes? Local agent wants to charge me a skyrocket price for "reprogramming" the ecu.
Did you check the hood sensor for the auto start problem ? There is a sensor in the hood lock to prevent the auto start if the hood isn't properly closed
Great video. Thanks for the advice. I have a 2014 NIssan Rogue. I replaced the fuse and it fixed the problem. Warning lights were off. My problem now is after a couple weeks, the lights came back on. I replaced the fuse and lights again went off. Then after one week the lights came back on. So I guess now the question is..what's making the fuse to go bad. Any ideas? Would it be a sensor?
There is a First big (size of your palm) splitter terminal on positive side of the battery - which I believe splitting the energy from the battery to the few systems - each splitter line supply few system. In my case U1000 code intermittently came with other systems like ABS, Ignition and airbag. There is a possibility that contacts there got corroded because the car battery leaking some acid and it gets there and getting corroded. It’s just one of cause that could be. I cleaned and it didn’t helped so I ended up with cleaning it with dremel or you can use just sand paper to clean the surface of the terminal. Those terminals hiding behind clear plastic window and if they are corroded you can see it. Not necessary it will help but a big possibility that will lol. Because it may damaging or corroding the circuit breaker eventually after few days because of high resistance at that main distributor which I mentioned earlier. Good luck!!!
P. S. Used Blue Driver to get and clean codes.

I have same issue but mine goes away after turning vehicle off and on until it's gone. It does ride weird when that light comes on. 🤷♂️

My BC infuse was not blown I had some carbon around one of the two feet of the fuse that goes into the fuse block so I went ahead and cleaned that carbon off on the fuse put the fuse right back in restart the car and voila.... That light went out
I've have close enough problem where my abs all wheel drive and e breake lights are on . Can it be fuse in my case ?

I have the Nissan Rogue 2015 and it was bought as a salvage( hit from the right rear side.) The light kept going off and on for the last few months, and finally, it comes on after i started to drive. But my has the warning: chassis control, system error. Will check the fuse box tomorrow morning. Will have my car inspected this week.
This can be a pain as there are multiple issues that can give this warning. Mine used to shut down. And the code pointed to the throttle and tps. There was corrosion in the connector

@@iink1509 Nope. I look at the fuse and it was good. I only push the skid marks button and the chassis warning lights are off. Hope it works for you.

I have the same issue on my 2014 Nissan rogue and I replace the same fuse but didn’t work still on.
When I start the vehicle it’s not there till I start driving the car and stays on till I turn the vehicle off.

I'm having this same problem with a 2011 Nissan Juke -comes on when driving and give a stalling, bucking feel and I need to pull over and turn the engine off and restart. I spent over $2,000 trying to figure this out the mechanic couldn't find error codes for this but apparently found other crap wrong with my car that wasn't giving me issues.
Change the brake light switch above the brake pedal.
Any luck? My 2012 Altima has the skid light on and won’t go past 2k rev

I don't understand why people have to ramble so much. You seem like a great guy. I trust that you ran to check for error codes. You don't have to show that here. For everyone else, start at 2:46 to go directly to the fix.
There's always be haters. If you do not like it, move on. Life goes on right. Look for someone else's video. If it's not helpful. I did the best I could. I do not have professional cameras or camera crew. I do not read script.
@@melniksmotors - I don't hate you. As i said, you seem like a really great guy. No digs on your camera either. You are just a nice guy trying to do the community a favor. With that said there are a lot of people that start off slow and go to left field, then to right, before finally running the bases. I was literally going through the first 2 minutes saying aloud; "Show us the fix." So not a hate. Just a suggestion.
I understand you point but history is necessary. Sometimes it is different issues with the same fix, or different fixes for the same issue

Did you get a reply I have the same problem with a 2013 Sentra for years now. Check engine on and off every few months, never a problem. Now anti-traction light is also on and that is where I have trouble starting and will not idle properly. Almost stalling at he traffic lights.

What happened to nissan? They used to make a quality product. Not anymore! I have a 1999 sentra with 250,000 mile on it and it still passes inspection so I purchased a 2016 sentra, the 2016 is a piece of CR*P has that Stupid pure drive! Don't ever make the mistake of purchasing a car with pure drive! It's pure garbage!🤬
Bummer, this tip didn’t work. The fuse was still good. Even replaced it with a new fuse. Light is still on. 🥹
