FYI I love your product.... You may want to send a quart to project farm on youtube..... I think you guys dont get the advertising you should get. Seems folks are not including you guys in the comparisons between products.
I'm using this on my second restoration. I love the product, recoat times are a little iffy as all I can find is you need to topcoat that silver within 7 days or it needs to be sanded. First frame I used the non-UV stable paint, it dulled in the sun as expected. This frame I'm using the AG-111 and the metal prep. That metal prep is worth it's weight in gold...
when your prepping the metal after it was wire wheeled off, you mentioned you cant let it dry,so after the time period what do you do power wash it of with water?im researching paints ,im planing on coating a jeep frame.I have repaired some of the frame and the places that have been repaired are smooth ,do they have to be scuffed up for the primer to stick?
Good questions, I'm hilariously also working on my 2000 jeep tj frame and body. Just taking care of the rust so it won't go any further in damaging the vehicle. I hope we can figure something out. Which Jeep are you working on?
@@eliasmaximus4857 no I never did,but ,I just scuffed it a lil ,its workrd out ,I used eastwoods incapsulator platnium and black chassis paint on frame turned out good,
@@v7nf I got my floor pans scuffed and grinder down the rest of the floor or tunnel down to bare metal, but it’s not perfect. Wondering if I should get into every nook and cranny were I couldn’t get into with my tools? I’m not trying to take short cuts, but trying to get all or leftover paint off alll areas seems difficult. Do you think I’ll be okay using the metal prep and so fourth?
Well that's quite frustrating...I clicked the link and it took me to the Eastwood site, I backed out and clicked again and here I am where im supposed to be. Whats up with the Eastwood BS? That kinda shit chaps my ass.
