This is an awesome idea. I wish they had this paint when I had my shop. I can think of a few things I would have painted with this chrome paint. If you payed attention you could see the very slight difference between the two but it was minimal. Obviously the painted chrome won't be as durable as the chrome plating but anyone who expects paint to hold up as well as plating are idiots. Can you polish this like normal chrome to bring it to a mirror finish? Looking forward to seeing a candy coat over it, it would be good to see a comparison to a normal silver base compared to the chrome base
Really impressed with this product. Thank you for a well-done demo. One question though... If you've cleared the helmet, won't touch-up look odd, with spot-spraying the chrome over the clear? While I certainly couldn't shine your shoes when it comes to spray painting... wouldn't it be advisable to just spray the entire thing, then clear again?
It looks good. If I where to nit pick, the only slight difference I can see especially with the bumper bar is its not quite as sharp on reflection, just slightly softer. Still a good product though.
The optical clarity of real chrome is still better from what I'm seing. However, I have tried "chrome " paints from other manufacturers and each time they fail once clear is put on or you touch them. I would be willing to try this one.

Same trying to repair my master replica, the chrome effect is wearing away :(
*Attention* *Spoiler* *Alert!* - Heck Man! My God! After I saw who _"saved the day"_ and took Little Baby Rogu on the last episode of *The Mandalorian* , I wanted to spray my *Green* *Lightsaber* and permenantly place it on my top Star Wars shelf under glass!
It would be interested to see what would happen if you gave it a flat and polish
Who taught you English? Go to school.
Can you polish this like normal chrome to bring it to a mirror finish? Looking forward to seeing a candy coat over it, it would be good to see a comparison to a normal silver base compared to the chrome base
Mav Shepherd or add clear coats to it and many coats of clear
real chrome is much tougher. treat this like paint and it will be great. the point is to get the look and the fact that you can touch it up easily.
Would like to know this aswel if it can be cut and polished like regular paint.
Av987 I'm sure you can wax it like you would do paint?
Yeah, I'm sure you could, but waxing is only temporary, while cut and polish is permanent.
Congratulations my friend you deserve a wow
Really impressed with this product. Thank you for a well-done demo.
One question though... If you've cleared the helmet, won't touch-up look odd, with spot-spraying the chrome over the clear?
While I certainly couldn't shine your shoes when it comes to spray painting... wouldn't it be advisable to just spray the entire thing, then clear again?
thanks for sharing your skills knowledge and working together as team member.
Pricey stuff, but would it be suitable for wheels?
Very cool, but at $4000 a gallon you could get your parts chromed for less and have a more durable finish.
going to use this to re chrome my plastic chrome trim thats moulded into a larger plastic trim thats not replaceable, thanks for the video cheers
That shit is insanely expensive. If I remember it was like 300 dollars for a quart kit.
How’s it look on aluminum? How long does it remain in show chrome condition, without chemical contact, impact, or physical damage?
Comparison result against real chrome, not even close😑
It looks good. If I where to nit pick, the only slight difference I can see especially with the bumper bar is its not quite as sharp on reflection, just slightly softer. Still a good product though.
Hello! That is magic, best crome paint so far! ❤️✨🎨🇸🇪
1200 per 500 ml kit or get real chrome 1200 per bumper. I'd go real chrome any day
Spongebob predicted the future.
Tyler Griffith, if you don't have kids nobody will know
I see what you did there....Future....Future.

If I use it on my helmet, can I see myself coming?
No mate..... You'll need Crystal Balls for that.!! ;)
No, but if you wear your helmet in the bathroom you might be able to see yourself going.
Thank you so much for showing me this, youve definitley earned a subscribe🙏
The optical clarity of real chrome is still better from what I'm seing.
However, I have tried "chrome " paints from other manufacturers and each time they fail once clear is put on or you touch them.
I would be willing to try this one.
Aussies are obviously real nice folks. All 10 points from Germany!
You shoulda painted a bald man’s head and called him chrome dome.
Or Destro...
Impending Doom why not both
That's funny

v8 gods welcome to valhala
😂🤣
Amazing does what it says on the can brilliant
I would imagine this is expensive.Turns everything into a freakin mirror!
Guys how adorable is this finish? I replicate grills for cars, and obviously once I'm done they go through car washes, will this be resilient enough to go through a car wash or to sit in the Sun.
I’ll take this into consideration in the future. Also, love that song.
Anybody know where to buy this stuff anymore? I can't find it on the market.
@sara-jayne Davis alsacorp.com/product/easy-chrome/ and there is a link to their European store as well.
can anyone explain youtube painters obsession with HEAVY METAL
Lol...
Many out of focus and bad camera angle shots, seemed intentional so yeah I don't trust you.
I’m about to cover myself in this stuff and do the robot on Hollywood blvd to see if I can break even on the cost of the paint for no reason…
I like to paint the back of my home made camper to keep other cars back a few extra feet. I will do it and post on my channel for you to see
Chrome: when you need to temporarily blind other motorists.
Idiot...
Impressive but $900 a pint? $1500 a quart? To me the extra cost of real chrome is justified by the durability. JMO
Will Easy Chrome withstand engine compartment heat when applied to plastics?
I think not. At least the one i can get is just for decoration.
For a paint its really impressive replicating real chrome, especially because the cost of real chrome dipping is extremely expensive.
Thats cool! Can't believe this is 4 years ago. bet its even better now. Can't wait to see a chrome car. lol
Will this paint guarantee me to acess valhalla ?
Only on a lovely day!
this is like close to 1k for basic starters pack for this paint
lozza PAINT IS MEASURED BY SURFACE COVERAGE
yeah i got suckered by spectra chrome, dont be me and lose a 4 mill deal. and spectra chromes help guy will just keep telling you to paint test tiels when you call. the spectra chrome we sprey has more cloudyness then easy chrome from what i can see. unless you want to chrome tiles for ever
Yeah, we did the same thing... I will say Spectra Chrome does work good on glass, where you don't need the base coat, but other than that, it doesn't look like chrome and it turns colors under the clear coat after a few days... The Spectra Chrome staff will NOT help you at all, which is the opposite of what they say when trying to sell you their over priced product and they say, "Spray more tiles!!"
get cosmichrome, its the absolute best and doesn't yellow and they even replicate nickel chrome now.

Wow, that looks really good.
Never thought you could get that kind of results from spray on chrome paint. Can you spray black over chrome to get a black chrome look.
>> Can you spray black over chrome to get a black chrome look.
cool. considering how quickly real chrome plating rusts, it's a game changer.
Alhamdulillah, good idea :)
