What the hell are you doing here in this nasty weather (if nothing comes of it). He posed the question because he wanted the people present to ask themselves. LOVE is the Answer, LOVE the is Key, LOVE the is Remedy, LOVE is the Solution, and LOVE is the Source of L.I.F.E. = Love Is For Everlasting. Namasté; loving, sharing, caring, and giving. "The Youniverse; The Tree of LOVE."
The answer is that, you can never find out, or whether you can or cannot, is not a question anyone can answer. The human brain is capable of great things, but knowing the truth to everything is beyond its reach.
We are here to remember ourselfs,to learn all what we are not,to realize what we really are,but our mind from the start teaches us to use imagination,so we always imagine what we are before looking what we are, what are u before imagining, before image, its yust u,its yust we as one, dont look outside yourself for yourself, close your eyes and see what u are.
We are here because we need crutches in spite of having healthy pair of legs, we are scared of stepping into the unknown. We refuse to be the step, though we would be happily follow the trail if someone like K carves it out for us.
@@johnf153 Sure but that everybody would be enlighten already, but what is even elightement, its a mere realization of all that ur not,and when u remove all that ur not even yourself, something still remains, that something when realized is that fancy word all are using, that word is missleading as much as god word, there is only self and beyond self is no words to describe that is u and we.
Answer is we ourselves. Evidence is whatever u see in front of yr eyes. Reason for it ie why? ie for experiencing . Result of experience is JOY. but we face miseries.. Reason for it is different for everyone. When u remove all differenraces u get to that result which u r born for or say for experiencing.
There is no reason why we are here. We can only ask ourselves and come up with many speculations. Its a human thing to always ask questions and seek for an answer. There's no absolute answer to these question.
To try to answer his question: I think our brains have evolved over many years in the search of exploring the unknown. To be able to grow bit by bit, generation by generation (when we are not stuck with fear). We now have extra-ordinary brains as he said, but where will we be in another 1000 years if we keep striving to learn, to accomplish, to explore? We are also where we are today because people strived for a better future, more information, greater experiences generations before us. When I think about "the striving", I also think about the word "flow". Because to be alive you have to move. Nothing can stand absolutly 100% still and be alive. Not an ant, not a tree, not the river, no human. So: we are formed and shaped by the striving/exploration of all things before us, which generate a new understanding and more striving/exploration in the furture, which again will shape the world for another tomorrow. Are we moving towards something? I do not know. But I feel its like my imagination. I get a thought, a problem to solve, something to ponder on from a friend, family member or and observation. And a new world of understanding and experience can grow out of it. Its like we like we live in an physical imagination xD
When I was a teen and everyone was talking about a book, 'the art of love' it made me want to throw up.. at that time I got 'freedom from the known'. and read what JK said about love. what he said was what i saw as real. hearing the truth made me feel less crazy.
Me too 2 🤪isn't it awesome to find some truth in all this madness!✌ And to think there was a solution the whole time I never looked hard enough !!!!! you wouldn't believe what I owe this man$$ his understanding of life is a lot more in depth then most!!
Interesting timing in my life for this most profound of questions. I like that he asked it of himself as well. What am I doing? I think that we ask this question, because we need the feeling of "having a use", which is nothing but an intellectual hobbyhorse. There is no use that we can understand. This leads to a kind of anxiety. The answer to the question is trust in whatever put us here (even if that is "just" evolution, which in my mind is more wonderfully complex than any human conception of God can ever be) and stopping the attachement of such importance to this blink in eternity that we are here. It is of the utmost imporance that whatever happens now, happens exactly as it is happening. There is nothing I can do to stop it or further it, all I can be is a thankful witness and pay attention. So why did I decide to listen to the speaker? Why is it important that I know? Or is it the intention of the speaker that we question the question and thereby our motivation to do anything and the perceived importance thereof?
IF YOU ARE READING THIS THEN YOU ARE ALIVE... WHY ARE YOU HERE…TO ADVANCE THE NEXT GENERATION, BY MAKING YOURSELF BETTER? IF YOU AGREE, MAYBE NOW YOU KNOW THE WHY AND THE WHO... HOW?...LOOK WITHIN WITHOUT JUDGEMENT NOR FEAR WHEN?...START NOW, ITS NOT TOO LATE OR TOO EARLY

Very graceful person and lecture gives the vibrations of peace,I wish I could have met this God like person .
Whenever I listen to sir JK, I feel so much difference between him and the babas. We should have been blessed with more good people like sir JK. Every baba is afraid of him
Once we listen to his voice and speech...we will get the peace inside

"The Fly of the Eagle", "The Awakening of Intelligence", Krishnamurti's Notebook", and "Education & the Significance of Life"; they are my favourites.
Damn I wish I could have met him. Can't help but admire this man, how sharp and sane he is - Even though maybe he'd say that gets in the way of my learning about these things.
We are “meeting” j k each time still today if we are really listening to him I mean beyond words ❤️🙏🙏
I am here, because i have always been here, and will always come back here

Really? Are you serious?
Don't know but something interesting about this man. My respects
He is the most humble I have ever seen, sweet little man, I am sure he has left the body some time ago, Namaste ~
He was not humble! He was energetic and passionate. He said, My only concern is to set man free-- of gurus, leaders and wars... that is not humility, which William Blake said "is only doubt, and does the Sun and Moon put out." But he was simple in his ways, and very beautiful
Beautiful.
Greatest beauty endeavour ever sir jk, sad to miss his presence that beauty esctasy..he was very direct unbiased honest. Rare modern Buddha so to say, inner engineering catalyst.
Thank you …. calm listening and thought provoking even in my old age.

A GREAT Man x
We are here because we need crutches in spite of having healthy pair of legs, we are scared of stepping into the unknown. We refuse to be the step, though we would be happily follow the trail if someone like K carves it out for us.
Once he starts to discuss the emerging technologies (it was 1985), he reveals his extraordinary vision and understanding.
He appeals to those who enjoy intellectual stimulation and being told that no inner discipline is necessary to realize enlightenment.
well, is it necessary?
@@janekbrat6951 The repeated suffering that comes from an undisciplined mind will also eventually open the heart to enlightenment.
I agree :)
I think he was referring to why were they there, listening to him. And not the filosophical stuff.
Master Oogway
To try to answer his question:
I think our brains have evolved over many years in the search of exploring the unknown.
What did he say about love?

This question is what intrigues me way more than what happens after death..
Strange that we are able to see this video because of the technology advancement .So the unbecoming has led to the becoming .
Like a wave curling in and reflecting itself in itself, right before crashing out.
12:30 He saw the future coming, the actual living present time (2023). That’s a quality of geniuses, to see further than the rest.
He is great

Or is it the intention of the speaker that we question the question and thereby our motivation to do anything and the perceived importance thereof?
no diff between speaker and spoke, only empty centers on that wheel, 'ready woke
I love krishnamurti ji

An incredible man no doubt. But every time I listen to him, I get depressed. He tends to shatter all my illusions.
Is it because you're seeking pleasure in his answers? It's hard to be saddened when one has zero expectations.
@@zqzj so what's the point of listening if you expect to learn nothing?
@@markopolo3435 I don't know what to expect, it could be nothing, it could be life changing. Expecting to learn nothing is an expectation in itself and thus it is not the same as having no expectations. Having no expectations is like filming and recording without any sort of filter, but having an expectation to learn nothing is like filming without film to record on. I hope I've provided some clarity, just trying to help because I know exactly what depressed feeling you're talking about.
You get depressed because he hits straight on your and our disbeliefs (false illusions).
Years back when i used to hear him i got very insecure and afraid. But life has bring me back to him. Because he is truth.
@@zqzj the gist of his whole talk is to un-learn and not to learn something new. Basically he wants us to be free of memory.
I love him!
He mentioned finding new cities and computer taking over our lives, sounds like he saw everything happening before and happening again. .. I guess all memory of our past lives is in the brain, I really think he meant that.
He did not see Japan fail and China rise.... not belittling.... just a thought. Man cannot know everything. Enligtenment is knowing that we are limited by the Limitless.

If you indulge yourself in such questions you will go crazy. Thinking about it won't help. The only answer to that question is that you won't find any answer and just give up on that question. When that happens you will understand.
