From the technical point of view I'm loving it, nice job!! But I think this is pretty much over engineering. More moving parts that can missalign, go defect and cost more. I think the steady bar approach works fine, tool change is precise and quick enough.
Looks great - I have also been working on a similar approach to adapt the DAKSH Tool changer to a 2.4 - pretty cool that both of us have been thinking in a similar way to adapt the 2 different toolchangers with a liftbar /floating dock approach.
So stoked! Nice work, I can't wait to test what you have so far on my Trident when the MPX kit arrives. I see you added another gearbox/stepper, was it just not lifting evenly with the single one? I might tweak your mounts to hide the motors underneath somehow but other than that this looks great!!!
amazing job mate !, cant wait to build my multitool printer... and as much u would love simple like that i fear i want to add a twist and also go for speed so need to do design work before i can order... better get started soon xD

Thank you so much I’ve been trying to add tool changing to my printer without a flying gantry without losing space and this is the perfect solution
Looks great. Whats the repeatability tolerance?
Very interesting!

Incredible work!
Fantastic!
Brilent I saw Zombie testing this but your system seams better now this is officially on my build list lol great work
Amazing!
Nice! Looks great!
Is this a voron set up like a prusa max? Thats pretty cool
beautiful work

What is the advantage of the moving lift bar + moving tool carrier versus just a moving tool carrier?
Is there any testing and results regarding precision deviation from changing toolheads?
I really want to add this to my trident, what did you change other than adding the new axis ?
Why are the Zs plastic?
Moving the whole bar is funny.
