BMW Head Up Display What's Inside !

In this episode I will disassemble 2 head-up display modules, one from the E series and one from the F series, we will see how they are built and what is the difference between them, and at the end I will teach you how to put in the test mode a head-up display unit without the need for diagnostic equipment

thanks for sharing, I always wanted to add a remote radar detector display to the dashboard so it shows next to the HUD but looks like it's not as simple as I was imagining it

Hello! Unfortunately No, you can't. The HUD can't process videos signal, and cannot project complicated images.

First of all, thank you very much for your Video. It helped me alot to understand the functionality of the HUD. I was wondering, if it is possible to replace the height-adjustement-gear? Visualisation, rotation, etc. is working perfectly fine.. I would appreciate your answer! Thanks and thumps up! :)
By the way, its a F10 LCI, I had to replace the HUD because it was damaged during an accident - the coding work was done by an Expert BUT is it possible, that the expert did a mistake only?

Hello , most of them will fail because of that flap , but when the flap will fail the HeadUp display won't turn on espacially on F series
