Sooooo loved this video & the fun you two are having is infectious. I have a 2019 S1000R which will be traded in for the SFV4S once we get out of lockdown here in Melbourne. Not really a massive difference considering 165hp against 208hp. We have had the worlds fastest indian now we have the worlds fastest Bogna!

yep big factor it have less impact on top speed but on acceleration huge ., for egzample 100 bhp accelerate 2 Times faster 2 Times lighter vehicle at the same velocity more less.
@@CaliMotoTV i thought you got a full system exhaust on the v4? Don't you have to tune it for that? Not to mention racing a 165hp bike to one with 208hp is also an apples to oranges comparison.

@@CaliMotoTV The V4 1100 Factory with the Akra can and Aprilia race map tops at 171mph, I have done the experiment on some private roads, the advantage is fully tucked in on the Tuono you dont feel a lot of wind blast.
I don't have the balls to do 180mph, even on a road like that. I like breathing too much. Are there no speed limits in that area of Mexico, or is there just 0.0 police?

Have you tried any top speed runs with the windscreen on the SFV4 and if so, were you able to break 180?

Agreed. I got a 2018 S 1000 R (catless with stage 2 by BrenTuning and BMC filter), have recently tested the SFV4s and the BMW felt faster.

i got a s1kr and a brentuning unlock made a world of difference
lets be honest tho after 170 on a naked bike power isn't really that usable
the full power is not unlocked on the v4 until 5th gear lol.
Approximate 43 to 48 HP difference....... We'll see about the upcoming 2021 S1000R... Also, isn't top speed about 160 on an '18 S1000R?
