I have a 19 MDX Sport Hybrid and love the powertrain, very sporty handling, space, and 25-27 mpg always (425-450 miles per 19.4 gal gas tank). Acura is out of the hybrid game and Lexus hybrid SUV don't have the sporty driving dynamics of Acura. The CX-70 with the hybrid or PHEV powertrain is top on my list as a replacement in a few years.
How are the cars similar and how are they different? Not what colors they come in with the trim looks like. Trying to figure out how the car is different didn't help sorry.
Some of the differences pointed out between the -70 and the -90 are actually just content differences between trim levels, or phev vs. inline 6, while others are differences between the -70 and -90 themselves. This is a good video to see them side by side, but interested folks should spend some time w Mazda marketing materials to see what options come where. For example: painted vs unpainted wheel arches (is phev vs. inline 6), screen size is trim level, 360 degree camera is trim level (on either model)…
There's no captains chair option in the CX-70 and the second row ventilated seats are missing even though the button space on the back of the center console is there. The 2026 version might have them.
You go through all those descriptions, but I don’t know why you don’t take a simple tape measure and give us a couple of simple dimensions in the cargo compartment! Kind of useless review without knowing what all fit in the back don’t you think?
That sounds like a lame review, unless it's purpose is to focus on cargo size. Why aren't you disappointed he didn't spend 10 minutes talking about the kind of cow the leather is made from?
Its essentially the same vehicle, the only real difference in cargo is that there is a little additional storage underneath the floor in the cargo area where the third row was, other than that it is negligible and not enough of a difference to bother measuring.
Mazda was ranked by car and driver in 2022 as the most reliable car brand, and 3rd in 2024. What do Toyota and Honda have that Mazda doesn't? They're basically similar in reliability, but the mazda looks 10 times better.
@@alb0zfinest Mazda has had numerous recalls, transmission hunting, suspension you feel everything, third row space sucks, no touchscreen, center console too wide, door pockets too small. Basically it’s a nice looking car but not practice especially for 57k +. Its a lease vehicle
You miss the point this is a 2 row SUV this is rwd bias with awd and an inline six turbo they are not in the same class the cx70 is far superior in driving ,looks, power, built. Honda and Toyota are run of the mill vehicles Mazda is a step above.
@@ncvman Toyota and Honda have their own unique shortcomings as well. Toyota happens to be bland as hell with no good driving dynamics. Honda reliability hasn’t been a squeaky clean as you might think The rest comes down preferences Mazda is basically offering a Kirkland signature Bmw
How much bigger in the body and specifically interior is the cx 70 to the cx50? I drove the cx50 for the first time recently and it was nice but, felt a bit too cramped for my liking. I know it’s a compact suv but it was pretty compact… plus in the random times I have passengers in the car I definitely feel they’ll be cramped, especially the taller ones and won’t enjoy the ride, especially if a much longer trip
Thanks for watching! The CX-70 does offer a fair amount of space more compared to the CX-50. Difference is that cx70 is missimg 3rd row seat and costs more. Here i saved u 11 minutes of his bullshido😅
Bless you
why not just get the cx-90 and fold the third row if u want them to be like the cx-70
So you pay more/same money for a CX70 with less seats and very little additional storage. It should cost less
Sick looking Mazda😲
Agreed! Thanks for watching!

Can u compare cx 90 2024 vs cx 90 2025

This melting copper is a beauty
What about new generation CX-5 in Canada and USA ?
The screen size is attributed to the year not the model, both 2024 cx70 and cx90 get the 12.3" larger screen.
cx70 would be perfect if it just looked the same as the cx90 but kept the black trim

Captain'l seats in a 5 seater?? No one's going to buy a 50k+ SUV that's a 4 seater.
@@DraakMD Make it an option and see what happens. It's the configuration that I want.
That's why they made the cx90 for you, sir
Literally feels like 2016 on interior

he said the cx-70 starts at 57k with a straight face.

If you can't afford cx90 stay with cx70 that simple. Stay away now with cx90 and 70 they have to many recalls right now
What recalls? I do not see any. Do you have a link?
Dude on here just posting BS. A simple google search proves this statement incorrect.
mazda ,lack of innovation .
Get a highlander or pilot. 57k for a Mazda lol.

Mazda turning out much better and parts are cheaper… been having Mazdas since the cx5 cx3 and cx9 and they all turned out awesome
