There is a way to get the frame rates up to snuff, actually! AMD is still more sensitive than Intel to memory clocks in gaming performance. Per AMD's official PR representatives, 6000MHz is the sweet spot for Zen 4/Ryzen 7000 series. This rule of thumb applies here too since the 7945HX is the same core and die configuration as desktop 7950X, just in a slightly different CPU package (soldered ball grid array). Unfortunately, 6000MHz DDR5 SODIMMs are unobtainium. However, you can get 5600 MHz modules. You can get the Kingston Fury Impact 64GB (2x32GB) 5600MT/s DDR5 CL40 Laptop Memory Kit of 2. Provantage sells that specific 64GB memory kit for $223.32. Provided that the BIOS allows for RAM speeds higher than 4800MHz, throw that puppy into the Zephyrus Duo 16. Can’t compare amd and intel wattage precisely, dont mean the same amount of work done per watt exactly, which is why we would compare actual performance numbers mainly. The i9 chip is clearly designed to go to higher rated watts, and yet the Ryzen still beats it in Cinebench R23, crazy-because of the more power eficient 5nm process vs Intels less efficient 10 nm process, which forces intel to go with efficiency cores to boost multicore performance, while AMD can go with all fat p cores.
