You will be studying economics in finance capital of India
Economics is not just about finance
And you literally need 0 knowledge about it gor this course, like it starts from very basic.
And personally mujhe bhi iske baare mai idea nahi tha pr somehow i got suggested this branch and I liked the curriculum and again future opportunities are endless plus mere dimaag mai MBA ka bhi hai so its a plus point
1st yr mai sabka syllabus same rehta hai
2nd yr se actually start hota hai
2nd yr mai microeconomics, macroecon, statistics, maths,etc
3rd yr mai iska higher level along with econometrics
mostly economics ke placement finance related hote, investment banks and consult firms. You'll get to know about them soon. Besides tech companies mai bhi you can apply.
