- In this video we will discuss about the reality of 2024 placement session in top IITs like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT madras and others. Has the recession effect placement season in IITs or the news that is being spread about the IIT placements is false? Let's Find out.
Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT) is the dream college for all Engineering aspirants in India and the institute has proved to be the best in providing high quality education, facilities and opportunities. There is a very less chance that in one year those thing can chance.
Placements in IIT is almost same compared to the previous year 2023 but the recession has slightly effected the placement of IITs this year but it's not at a huge extent. Many students at IITs has done offline internship and have got Pre-placement offer (PPO) which is not considered in the data shown by the media.
I would request you all to spread awareness about the placement season in IIT and share with them what's the reality.

News about 85 students getting 1 crore+ offers from IIT Bombay was incorrect. Even IIT bombay apologized later for misinformation. In actuality only 22 students got 1 crore+ offers.

IITs have a lot to offer, placements are just a small part of it. IITs have a very strong alumni network, labs, incubators, and what not. We should focus on making stuff rather than working for some MNC. But most people(not all) are just behind quick money. Entrepreneurship should be explored more by upcoming students. There should also be a mindset change among students that once we get IIT we are on top. IIT keeps throwing opportunities one after another we should be able to catch that and keep on learning.
But acca can give you more vast network and idea of business so i dont see much benefit to struggle for iit😢
The problem is, many are there not for engineering as well, but just for packages they get.
But IIT-jee ratrace stops entrepreneurship

I am from iit Mandi got a PPO when I was doing hdfc internship in my 4th year, I declined it to get more package, got a 35 lakh package in aiful( Japanese company) then applied for off campus placement in google archived it got a package of 50 lpa and I will be joining in July 1st this year

The problem is even IITans are looking towards getting a job rather than develop ideas to build a startup. Plus even IITs are not grooming them to build startups. Imagine even if 1/4th IITans work on an idea and work on building a startup how many new jobs India itself can generate in future.
IITans should not look forward to work in multinational companies. They should be groomed to create unicorns and multinational companies and become job providers rather than job seekers..

My boyfriend is an alumni of IIT B and the number of calls he's receiving left and right from the students of IITs is crazy. Many IITians have to use their alumni network to get placed in the companies since on campus scenario isnt that good anymore. Hope all the hardworking students find a nice placement and get out of the stress they are dealing with due to worse job market.

Think about what shit tier 2/3 engineering college student have to face during placement even in good condition and here the superior IITians are getting placed used their brand value, industry dominance and alumni power contacts and yet they are playing victim card to get sympathy and in this process these IITians are creating a situation of panic and crises by creating a corrupt and criminal narrative in the industry which will lead to believe that there is job crisis, this forcing the recruiters to only hire superior engineering college student like IITians, thereby making tier 2/3 engineering college student even more jobless 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
