- After burning through my Exfil-36 bags I needing a desperate upgrade and @VikingBagsYT saddlebags were the answer. Such a great design and they don't just look cool the functionality of them are even better. With the ability to lock them and keep them secure its a win win. Can't wait to be able to test these out to give a full review on them. Be on the lookout for that video coming soon!

Did the brackets you used come with the bags?? I ordered Viking bags for my 2023 rebel 500 but they came with a different type of bracket. The ones I got are a pain in the neck. I cant find the brackets you have at Viking bags web site either.
Yes they came with them. Idk if maybe you can find them on eBay or something like that. I know they are supposed to come out with quick release mounts but I’m not sure when that will be. Sorry I couldn’t be more help. 😞I hope you get it figured out!

Yeah these are great. It’s not on their website right now cause they may be out of stock.
The Viking bags are nice, it's just their bullcrap claims that the "hardware specific" is to the bike.. when it's not, its just universal mounting hardware they provide with many of their bags for all different bikes. I think they since change their website since I emailed them giving 'em a mouthful of negative vibes. Additionally they make no mention on the product page that the bags might (certainly do) interfere with passenger begs. At least the 26L "leather" ones do. I ended up making some custom mounting brackets, so the passenger pegs were still useable.
@@MarshOnTwoWheels yeah that is something they should mention. It isn’t on their website anymore though. I will probably never have a passenger so I won’t really worry about that. But I’m sorry you had that issue but I’m glad you were able to solve it.

Something I don’t understand is why do the brackets have to be angled?
Sorry for the late response this one slipped through the cracks and the reason because because the cutout for the shock it follows that line.

Unfortunately they don't sell these anymore. Hopefully they will make them available in the future.
Hey man, where did you get those mounting brackets? I contacted Viking asking about the brackets and the saddle bags and they told me they don't sell hardware separately and also that they aren't going to offer those bags for the Rebel 1100 any more since they removed them from the website...

I dont have the brackets
I’ve seen that for a lot of people do why they stopped selling them. I do know they are supposed to come out with quick release brackets soon. If they do I’ll put a pinned comment at the top of this video.
