    For the record tonsil stones are some of the worst culprits of breath issues. Not only that but they could be uncomfortable and come out at anytime (like the middle of the night in ur sleep and u wake up choking from it) - my tonsil stone problem and cryptic tonsils were just causing ill health and issues that 9 years ago when I was 26, I made the decision to get a tonsillectomy. Prob one of the best decisions I ever made because my tonsil issues and tonsil stones disappeared that day- drastically improving quality of life, including normalizing my breath.
    Also, a persons oral hygiene should never just be brushing teeth and calling it a day like u Said. My oral hygiene routine is flossing, brushing, using the tongue scraper and then mouthwash. Lol and drinking tons of water is key - esp after alcohol or coffee!
    Looking forward to more videos!

    It's crazy cause sometimes even doctors are ignorant of tonsil stones. Emma Chamberlain posted a video here on youtube called "rotten" or something like that, where she talked about being so stressed about smelling her own terrible breath but could not figure out why lol. I believe it was her dentist, too who told her WHY.

    Informative video. Can you guys do a video on how to take care of your toothbrush, scraper, etc so that they're clean each time you use them. Also, as we age, what type of toothpaste and mouthwash we should be using. I realize everyone is different but in general, people who are in their 20's, 30's, 40's and so on have different dental issues. Thank you.

    Hey, I have a question.
    I recently visited a dentist from a very well-reviewed clinic (highly-techy expensive types) and I asked her about any tips that I should follow to maintain a healthy mouth?
    Like I personally chew cloves and oil pull and do salt water rinse and try for the majority of the time to avoid sticky chocolatey stuffs and ofcourse floss and tongue clean.
    And all she said to me was you don't need to do all that, just brush your teeth twice and you'll be good.
    And she also said to not floss as flossing creates gaps between tooth(?) which didn't make sense because the gaps come on due to the removal of plaque buildup right?
    And the thing with chewing cloves is soooo freaking helpful!!! ( I don't swallow any of it just chew and whatever buildups stays in mouth and then I spit it out). Like I literally started having sensitivity because I had eaten way too many chocolates for my period cravings and one tooth started to be very sensitive to cold and hot foods. I tried oil pulling but the magic of oil pulling was being too slow this time so I tried chewing cloves and it's gone!!!!!!! And my somehow feels so much more cleaner and my teeth are whiter aghhhh
    And to all this, don't follow any of it and just brush????
    Seriously people take ayurvedic treatments as a joke :(

    • @baileymadison9019
      @baileymadison9019 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you do not floss the bacteria between your teeth eats away at the side of your teeth. That is why not flossing creates gaps! When you floss you remove that bacteria and plaque that will eventually cause tooth decay.

      @@JesusIsKing578 you boil some water and inhale it for like 3-5 minutes. and put it on your nightstand beside bed. don't forget you always need to moisturize your room. brushing your teeth can soothe your reflux-related throat pain as well. but don't overdo it, like everything. and drink water as much as possible- just not during your meals! if you have reflux, you should drink water 2 hours after your meals...

      thats a great q. depends what you mean by the word "harm." technically all things we consume can "harm" us but we certainly dont want to live in fear of our foods. logically, less caffeine and sulfites should help reduce effects Jack mentioned in the video, but tbh, i havent found any literature on decaf vs regular coffee in the context of halitosis. i say go for it, but keep your hygiene and consumption frequency in mind

    I tongue scrape all the time, but my tongue is still white. My dentist says it’s not bad but i sort of feel like white tongue means something bad. What’s your pov?

      Might be candida.... With a ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting you can resolve that issue. 🙂

      @@unknownfancyI thought it was a serious problem. Then drink plenty of water after eating, it helps to clean the tongue. And don't wait too much after eating to brush your teeth. Try and see. 😊

    Hey Dr. John. I have one question that I couldn’t find an answer for in google. So if you don’t eat or drink anything the whole day, you will have bad breath. So what can we do to not have a bad breath while fasting. Ramadan is in march, and I don’t wanna have a bad breath while fasting. Please help🙏

    • @dr.johnyoo
      @dr.johnyoo  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      fixing bad breath during periods of Ramadan fasting can be tricky and limited due to the oral restrictions. besides hygiene regimen, rinse is the only thing i can recommend that can avoid being swallowed, if that is allowed ! sry i am not as familiar with this scenario!

    Is it true that the bacteria in your mouth when you wake up is really bad and if you don’t rinse it out it’ll affect your gut health and cause acne?????
