    Bill, I love this channel. stumbled across it randomly and it ignited the zero interest I had in lock picking! Now I cannot stop myself. I think it's because locks are clever little machines

    Jimmy invited me to his garage to help open up a van so he could service it for the customer who lost the key. I suggested we pick the lock. Jimmy was all in for that. I grabbed a 90 degree oring pick and stabbed Jimmy in the forefinger while "picking" the lock.. I felt aweful about it. Jimmy wrapped his sore finger up and foregave me. That was my motivation to watch all of your videos. I wish I knew then what I know now. Thanks Bill for the great channel and real pick recommendations...I bought one of your recommended sets and have been honing my skills but I haven't heard from Jimmy lately....

    I am having the neighbor get the remains of his stuff out of the building, and was screwing around with a Sparrows Monstrum, & the locks in the building. They are old Kwiksets I had rekeyed at a locksmith's shop, & am I thinking "Ah old Kwikset, EASY stuff, should rake open like the junk Schlage on my old house". I get two deep false sets. I am thinking, "Spools? Nah!", yep! It had 3 spools, then a spring got jammed in one of the pin cylinders, between the cylinder wall & a straight pin, so I managed to dig that out, & set the pins aside. I have to admit that paying the extra 14 cents per spring, for genuine USA made Kwikset springs is worth it! 9 cents each, or 23 cents each? Spend that extra $14 for a bag of 100, PLEASE!

    as someone who lives in germany... I wish I'd find any locks with a keyway like that here. Still can't believe american locks are open like that while beginners in europe have to fight beasts like abus euro cylinders...

    Again lucky those small master wafer didn't cause the sprigs to enter the plug and jam it up. I know they were used because the .180 drivers wouldn't work

    Bill, I need some help. I used to be a fairly good picker, I could pick an abus titalium in 15-20 mins. I stopped practicing for about 4 months because some other things came up, and today I discovered that I can't even rake a master lock, let alone spp it. I'm not kidding you, I tried to rake, zip and spp 3 different master locks for an hour, and not one open. So I guess I have to start over from the beginning, but I'm confused because I thought raking a master lock is as simple as it gets!

      bosnianbill Thanks for that, since sometimes its hard to realize that you just need to stop trying and come back fresh. Also, something that may interest you is that the Master #3 locks now have serrated pins!

    I have a question...and...possibly a topic for future video???? After watching countless hours upon hours of your videos and becoming intrigued with locks and picking them, it seems almost scary to think that the kwickset locks and deadbolts securing my home are...well...not really securing anything. (tho with both of my parents each having served in the military for over 20 years and now retired, one worked in the Pentagon for the last number of years, one is no stranger to the many other "home defence devices.") My question to you, sir...... is can a standard, common, everyday front door deadbolt and doorknob lock be set up as a "challenge" lock (internal threading, custom key and follower pins, ext.) and have it yield the same key cut as to not have to change everyone's keys but also to be reliable??? I notice sometimes when you pick a challenge lock that the lock has weird quirks and slight.....I dunno...issues when just trying to use the key normally. ie. when coming home and using the key to unlock the front door. I guess all of my rambling on comes down to....can I modify my deadbolt to make it a more secure but reliable lock without changing out the locks completely and spending a lot of money in the process??? Any input would be graciously appreciated. Thanks for all of the bad ass vids!!!
    Phil

    • @abrannan
      @abrannan 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can, *IF* you have a re-keyable lock. IIRC, most of your Kwikset Home Depot bought locks aren't going to be able to be re-keyed. You just don't have access to the internals.

      trevor pierce it doesnt take a lot of effort. Its a template. You just go to cancer intros dot com and put in your image or text and then it gives you a video you can add to your content that isnt unity volume so it airhorns the fuck out of your viewers
