Still working my way through your oldies, Gaynor, and this one of the sanseveria (snake) plant (or mother-in-law tongue, as we called it in Jamaica) turned out to look fabulous! And the last few minutes in your kitchen it was fun looking out to your large pot of frozen leaves hanging down - all yellowy orange and green - looking just like something you might have painted!
Hi Gaynor, this is so exciting to watch, the video is a year old, but I love the way you are exploring this plant.& also the way we are able to come along for the ride. Every one of your videos that I’ve watched has been exciting. Thank you so much for sharing!
This video is extremely helpful. I have never approached a subject with such intention. The time you give to study without color is cool, and you have presented it as a fun exercise. Must try. ❤😊
Happy New Year. What a great tutorial, I look forward to next week. I don't think I will look at a snake plant in the same way ever again. Have a lovely day.
Hello Sharon.....me neither ! Happy New Year to you. I am nervous about house plants - the keeping them alive aspect ! But, I'm thinking about others to draw 😀
I am relatively new to your channel and am dipping in and binge watching in no particular order. Just wanted to say how much I am learning and enjoying all that you have shared. I think this is my favourite so far and I feel so inspired. Thank you for sharing 😊
May not be precious but it is fabulous!!! I remember the first time I did Inktober, I was faithful to the original idea and did NOTHING but black or sepia - and it was not with anything but a nib. NO color for a month. Oh did I love November 1!
Dear Gaynor, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts an progress, it was really inspiring and I am looking forward to part 2. I wish you and your family all the best for the New Year 🥂🎉🎆
Love, love this episode! Now I’m looking at my “Mother-in-Law Tongue” plant, we have that nickname in the US…you know sharp tongued mother-in-laws!…in a whole different light. I’ve got to explore her!
Hi Gaynor! Really enjoyed this! Your comment about drawing without looking at the paper to find what scale one draws at was invaluable for me. I also like the idea of one huge piece of paper to do multiple warm up drawings on. I look forward to seeing more of your investigations. See you next year! 😊
Thank you, Gaynor, it has been a real pleasure to watch every one of your videos in 2022. It’s mostly down to your approach that I made a start with art and kept going, cheered on by your weekly inspiration and warm generosity. Happy New Year!
This was so good, thankyou Gaynor. I love blind contour drawing it always seems to look better than when you look at what you're doing, you are right about the scale. The finished result was fantastic, looking forward to next weeks video.
Hi Love you and your artstyle so glad that I faund you....but please kan you stop doing this cirkelmoves in the video?? I cant see more videos of you its feels like you having a stroke...sorry !!, ok happy new year🥰

Hi Linda, so pleased you liked the video. Happy New Year 🥰
I'm going to give this a go in my A3 sketchbook. It looks like a lot of fun. Your webpage doesn't appear to be working Gaynor.
I do hope you have a go 😀I am all of a dither.....has a webpage worked before? I don't have a website.
What's a Snake plant to you is a "mother-in-law's tongue" here in Durban, especially the taller variety
Hi my Big inspiration 😍 are you sure it is A2 paper ? It looks like A1 to me 🤔🥰
It is definitely A1 !!!!! No excuse for that blooper 😊
