Hey! So as some of you already know, Mark and I are no longer working together. This episode was edited by Vivien Benmouffek and I think that their work on this video was really next-level. th-cam.com/users/vivienbenmouffek
Because Mark and I are no longer working together, I'm trying to figure out the best way to approach the rest of the Pokemon series from here. Scott and I seem to bounce off of each other well for commentary (as you can see from this video and others on my gaming channel: th-cam.com/video/iNXkWK4DI9g/w-d-xo.html ) so having him join me for the rest of the Pokemon episodes would probably make sense. The only issue would be that he never really watched Pokemon as a child and wouldn't have the nostalgic understanding of the show that myself or Mark have. Perhaps there is a level of humor to be found within that anyway and it would add to the commentary. If that sounds like a good idea, just let me know and we'll start recording some new episodes. Now that I've got several new editors on the team, those episodes should be coming out much more frequently as well. Just wanted to figure things out properly before getting back into the series since Mark won't be joining anymore. Anyway, just keeping you guys in the loop. I've recently purchased my own camera equipment too so the infrequent skit material in my reviews won't be lost because of this. Will be at TIFF until the 15th and will be working solely on Amusement Part 2 when I'm back until it's finished. Thank you!

Yes please. I wouldn't mind seeing you and Scott continuing the Pokemon series. I think it would be awesome to listen to Scott's reactions to some of the hilarious episodes. It would add some refreshing outsider perspective to the series since Scott is a Pokemon virgin. Not for long! ;P

Same, I had to find something new to fall asleep to for a while. But the posthumous release of the Underworld commentary helped a bit, and after a good cry, I was able to laugh again. Sometimes there was overlap which was not great for breathing 😂

This movie was on a national TV channel once when I was a kid. My mom caught me watching it, said "Oh my God what are you watching??" and grabbed the remote from my hands to change the channel. Julie Civa She put hair gel on it but it was so brief I doubt anyone would wanna pay attention to it. I mean flat irons exist too, right? God, why am I defending this unbearable piece of garbage
I only pointed it out because as someone with curly hair who always wanted straight hair, I know even with ironing any sort of moisture (sweat, moisture from the air) will curly it up, if I straightened it in the morning it'd be curly again by night. And she is shown with straight hair in every single scene after that, so i'm guessing she ironed her hair and used anti-frizz creams single day, in that case her hair should look very dehydrated in later scenes. Also short curly hair is harder to manage than long curly hair, long is easier to keep straight for longer since the weight of it will keep it down on the top at least, usually curls will appear at the tips still, so by cutting it she's only creating bigger problems for herself. But it seems cat burp powers work on your hair too, but only after a few days I guess.

In a way, I can understand why it's hard for a director to admit that their movie is bad. Even though it's all opinions in the end, they had to go through a whole painful process just to get it finished, and honestly, if your movie ends up being anywhere near as bad as Catwoman, then I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to talk about it or admit to it being a shitshow.

The problem with Halle's performance is that it's perfect for what the movie needs, and the movie is just that bad. Halle is just so good, she can even deliver when what the director wants is awful

That's the problem with the Razzies' 'worst actor' category, they sometimes mistake shitty direction for shitty acting. It's so often the actors get shit for what's essentially the director's and writer's fault. Must suck to just have to absorb all the criticism because you're the face of it all.

And yeah usually its bad movies, but then you have them giving worst director to Stanley Kubrick and worst actor to Shelley Duvall which just seems downright childish, if u dont like a film fine, but the Razzies usually end up just being an excuse to mock ppl, and not always the rich and ones who deserve it, usually they just mock movies that got fucked by studios. Or they fucking bully kids, some even younger than 14, like the kid from Phantom Menace. They’re hecklers who just revolve around being hateful.
