I think the key to a minimalist skincare routine is finding the products that work for YOU and not overcomplicating your routine with a million different products. find a few that work for you, and stick to those, while adding maybe one at a time.

I use a shampoo bar from this soap maker on TH-cam that is seriously the best I’ve ever used. It’s Royalty Soaps and her stuff is pretty clean. She even has an unscented shampoo bar that’s amazing. It’s like the only shampoo I can use now and I love that it’s plastic free and small, perfect for travel too.

i'd honestly say ur makeup collection is a good size, i dont like the feeling of anything on my face, so the littlest i use is literally just eyeliner and lipstick. I use to wear a whole face of make up during my senior yr of highschool becuase thats unfortunately the yrs where my body just chose to make me break out like crazy. it took me 3 yrs to 95% clear my skin and i now refusse to wear anything more than eyeliner and lip

Hi Grace! Good job on decluttering!! Giving stuff to your friends and family is a win win for all! You get to purge without guilt and someone gets something for free! And who doesn’t love free?! For me and any products that I know I should use up like samples, I basically hide my normal goods so I’m pretty much stuck giving the ignored ones a try. After I give it a try and it just isn’t cutting the mustard, I let it go. (I’m the same w books… after a few pages and it’s just not doing it for me, I don’t invest any more of my time on it.) Like your name, give yourself grace on past mistakes and keep moving forward!

I know this was a year ago, but one of the decluttering tricks is if you are on the fence and you can replace it in 20 minutes for $20 or less, then pitch it

Omg, I had a huge “girl saaaaame!” moment when you were trying to decide on whether to keep or donate the two little minis. I do this so often and end up never using the stuff, like why do we do this to ourselves 🤣 Im watching while working and this is giving me the biggest declutter urge instead of work 😂
