I noticed that when I try to oppress my authentic self, it literally kills me inside, and I can’t do it anymore I in the past.
That all changed when I had my major awakening on December 28 going in the 2024 after I lost a tooth.
My authentic self now self identifies as Anime Magical Teen Girl Goddess. I have no choice to accept this way, and I have no choice to feel this way inside anymore.

I notice in my dreams i am much more free and my authentic self and always wished i could be that way in waking life. I'm gonna research the 8c's and try working with them. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction 👌🙂

That‘s an interesting observation 🤔 ✨! I‘ve come across the 8 Cs in Richard Schwartz‘s book “No Bad Parts” and in Hilary Jacobs Hendel’s book “It’s Not Always Depression”. Beyond their techniques, I think there are many ways of learning to access and stay with the 8 Cs, and learning to be our authentic self is definitely one of the core topics of this channel that I want to keep sharing tools for in the future.

I love the video, how concisely explaines how the authentic self should *feel* like. I wish you could have emphasised more the importance of grounding techniques. As with perfectionist and anxious people like myself being more aware is not helping if not calm and grounded ...

I‘m glad you liked the video and thanks for the feedback, I want to share more on that at some point, so its good to know there‘s interest out there to hear more about grounding techniques. 🪷🧘‍♂️

Not being my authentic self leaded to my divorce, lesson learned for me the hard way, now starts the voyage of my lifetime discovering who and what I really am, no masks, no disguises, facing the world head on, as to be honest now I have nothing to lose, but everything to gain

    This seems to be unatanable.

I see how the 8 Cs can seem like goals that are unattainable. At the same time, we don't have to approach them as something to be attained in perfection. Even just dipping our toe into a spark of one of the Cs is extremely helpful, and can be enough in a given situation. The 8 Cs aren't about success or failure, they're about inspiration, acceptance, compassion and guidance, even if it's only a tiny bit.
