Man I Love the Witcher!! Great cover bro 🤘 I had an LTD M-330R and I am SO mad I sold it. It had an active Alnico 200 series and it sounded SO incredible. It looked a lot like this '87 series you have. It was all black as well.

LTD is highly underrated, I just bought this exact LTD M-1 Custom Series and am really impressed with the build quality, sustain and feel of the guitar. The last LTD I had was a 2009 Jeff Hanneman JH-600 signature series which I also bought new. The guitars feel very similar! I love the coil split and PA2 boost!
Do you find you can dial in a nice mellow tone despite not having a neck pickup? I was wondering if the knob can be turned to get either a brighter or mellower sound.
@@misstangshan95 yes you can , with full treble on the tone knob it is quite Bright which I prefer but it can be dialed back
@@LeoM-zt3pl @Christopher Mott thanks for reply. That's great as I want to be able to get clean blues tones as well and I love how this guitar looks similar to the legendary horizon 1. Its the only esp in this price/quality range which looks like it, but the lack of neck pickup was putting me off for that reason so good to know. GIven there is only one knob on it which is a tone control, does that mean there is no volume slider on this guitar?
@@misstangshan95 there is a volume knob! And you can get some very bluesy sounds out of it with the stock Seymour Duncan distortion pickup
@@LeoM-zt3pl that's great I'm sold:) I currently only have a schecter banshee extreme 6 which is a very good mid range guitar so I'm not expecting a huge amount of improvement.

Yeah, it's a very metalcore inspired riff ^^ Was making it for another small video, but it turned into a full fledged song. So I just thought "fuck it" and just made the entire thing.

Do you find the painted neck slows you down? Is the neck thin or thick?

Indeed. It reminds me of one of the 80ies cartoons i used to watch as a child. They used to have similar sounding intros etc. I suddenly felt 30 years younger when i heard this.
