Even with all the AWD goodness and heavy tuning you just cannot get that 60/40 ratio outta her, she still understeers like a bat outta hell. They fixed it with the 33 then crapped out with the 34. But the Hicas was beefed up at least. Good lap bud. She’s still fast decades later.

These cars are not fast, but fun to drive. People need to stop fanboying over cars like they are something special in terms of speed. They are very special for the feelings they induce you... 120hp VW up from Apex can do sub 9 time, this 450whp R32 does 1 min better and 520hp GT3 RS does 1 min better than that, but i still bet you would be pale after that VW UP lap and Porsche would feel way safer. You can have fun in any car, you should just pick your poison and appreciate every car.
You probably could’ve gotten a better time if you had downshifted to second gear on a few of those turns. It would’ve kept the rpms up and reduced the lag when you get back on throttle.

i got pretty close in an r32 on assetto corsa with about the same hp :D (i wall tapped a few times no big deal)
