Fascinating! I do not have the vision to create something like this! Well done! I also appreciate that you do the narration as you go along, sharing your thought process. So many You tubers are mute the whole time, which gets boring.

Thank you Ron! I’ve seen that in other TH-camrs and I think it’s driven from a particular TH-camrs success that other Woodturning individuals are trying to emulate. Me I just wanna share what I do and tell those who wanna know or are I tested, the process 😁👍

Hi Richard. So love this piece. Love the use of bog oak made into segments looks amazing. Still amazes me how you can your ideas out of your brain and into your fingers. The gilding looks fantastic but what else would you expect from Lenore. Great job. Cheers 🇦🇺

Hey John! I think I was just trying to create something using what I had, the new button jaws and chuck I got particularly. Then incorporating the designs of the last couple of pieces I’d made. The next one is nearing finish and I am SO happy with it! It’s what I consider next level 😁😁😁

Your foresight for the piece out of those odd bits of wood is astounding. The flexible planning stages bring out the best in the finished item.
    I love it.

Awww thank you Tony! I spent about half hour feeling up the gimlet burr before deciding roughly what I wanted to make and it came out near exactly as weird as I wanted it to. Weird can be just weird and I’m sure it is to some, but I like it, and you like it! That’s all that really matter 🤗👍

Thanks Bradders, what about something like "what comes between" for the name? The two outer pieces draw your eye and then the ring completes it, almost framing it and creates a division which in practice brings the piece together

wrap the glue ups with old newspaper and you wont get any glue on your strap mate...
you could call it flat tyre as it really does look like an old car wheel with no spokes.
