My Dad & I both rivalled each other when it came to Holden vs Ford LoLz but when it came to the SVG (Kiwi)winning the last PUKEKOHE race we were both in tears 😂 churr! 🤙😅

I picked him as a great driver way back when he hit the Aussie scene and everyone around me said I was crazy. Who wears a big smile now? RVG used to email a regular newsletter, so they both put in the hard yards. Great work Shane and look forward to what you do in coming years, just love your work! Congratulations!
I first got to see V8s on my country's TV during his first year. I became a big fan, even though he's not quite 2 years older than my eldest, I saw a boatload of potential in him. Sadly I lost the opportunity to watch the series (can't afford to pay for yet more channels I'll hardly ever watch) not long after he hit the big time, but I've been following him on TH-cam and when he's taken part in US and European series/races. I'm so chuffed for him that he's getting the success and recognition he deserves :)
@@y_fam_goeglyd I hear you on payTV, can't afford it here either so have to miss some rounds of the series, although it's often repeated days later at weird hours on FTA. Good that a lot of highlights are posted on YT.

I've seen him race in a number of series, different types of cars, etc, and it takes him all of 5 minutes to get the hang of them (okay, maybe 6 minutes). Could he race in F1? Yes. _Should_ he race in F1, especially around the yawnfest that is Monaco? Nah. Sao Paulo, Silverstone, Melbourne (natch) and Spa, along with a few others where his flowing style would really shine? Abso-bloody-lutely!
