I rarely watch NASCAR but im glad people world wide after the stunt at Le mans, and now having some racing legends from other sports come race, that people can see how exciting NASCAR can be. it certainly has its moments. glad you got to watch a NASCAR race live and watch SVG win! I love V8 supercars and was so excited to see him do incredible in this race in Chicago

I will definitely be paying an interest now that Shane is getting a drive in the Project 91 car. The street course looks interesting, SVG is a master at these. Thanks for showing some of the process of how it all works. I hope SVG goes out there on Sunday & has a good hard race. I know he is good enough to be in the top 10 or even win the race, but the main thing is he enjoys it, soaks up all the atmosphere & has a great time. I highly recommend watching nascar While I wouldn't pick it over most of the other motorsports I watch, it still has great entertainment value and the competition is pretty tight
SVG has just added another notch to his belt in winning the Bathurst 1000 this past Sunday (8 Oct 2023) making it 3 wins in 3 consecutive years..not bad eh!
Was wondering if Jess was going to be there,love this lead up video,just watched bits of the race on TH-cam,would love to see camera's showing crowd reactions like in Super cars,
his a legend in Australian Motorsport be sad to lose him but at the same time i think our country is holding him back hope svg enjoys his time over there be great to see him take on the world in nascars

Cup Cars return to North Wilkesboro for the All-Star race. 4. My Boy KFB to RCR…. Those four things have made this Nascar season the best I can ever recall by FAR…and we’re only just little more than half way through the year? Are you kidding me? What a season already! So glad to see the direction Nascar is heading these days. Get those rigidity issues with the NextGen car sorted out and there’s no stopping this series. MORE STREET CIRCUITS! MORE SHORT TRACKS! MORE DIRT TRACK RACING! And a lot less of the left turn mid level tracks. At least it’s what I’d wanna see. Never will I ever miss the likes of Chicagoland. I say this as someone that has lived their entire life in South Carolina, 90 minutes from Charlotte. 50 years of age and never had I been more excited about a NASCAR season to get under way. So far I’m well pleased. Im grateful people like Justin at Trackhouse know a real Wringer when they see one. SVG…what a Racing Car Driver that Kid is!
Why? We haven't even seen what he's able to do just yet. Also, he's massively successful in the Australian V8 series. Why give that up to potentially be another Marcos Ambrose? Mediocre on ovals and strong at road courses.
@@samharris3508Ambrose comes from an obsolete generation & Giz comes from a generation quick to adapt, that's why SVG's resume is on another level to Ambrose. Shane was born on the oval and still is racing on the dirt, when Shane isn't at Supercars he's back home or around the world racing.
Hey guys, I watched the race from the rear camera but at the end it didn't give me the sensation of crossing the finish line. Not a bad thing Just different.

‘Became a RC fan almost immediately when he started racing for TRACKHOUSE Racing. Even started rooting for DS in the races. Now this Aussi comes in and, again, instantly I’m a fan. So I guess I’m signed up to be a Trackhouse team fan! As for Chicago, I was dead set against this race (especially since it booted the Daytona Pepsi 400 out of its Independence Day weekend slot), but after watching the qualifying as well as the first laps of the Infinity series race, I have to say, this should actually be a great race today!
If you want the technicality Red Bull doesn't own the team he drives for in Supercars. They are known as Triple Eight Engineering, a massive team in Australia that specializes in Touring Cars/Supercars and GT/Endurance Racing. Red Bull just sponsors the Supercars Team.
was great to see his Team Boss from Oz Jess Dane there with him. was she supporting him as his girlfriend or playing team boss I wonder 🤔 I'd guess she'd be in two minds knowing that he might leave her winning team now that he's won in the US

He was top in practice and was 3rd in Qualy. He is doing very well. Race can be a lottery but he is up front so hopefully avoids the madness.

Shane is a Formula Ford Champion & NZ Grand Prix Champion. Open wheel racing like F1 was on his resume before Supercars.
