Can this bike be dyno mapped without pcv? My dyno guy said he needs a pcv to map it but I know it's possible to just write with tune ECU...what are the tool dyno guys are using?
Personally, i dont see the point other than being able to map at tighter RPM increments. Tuneecu covers feuling at every 500rpm and also has the full ignition tables etc. the 131 bike would have had a tuned engine or a ambitious dyno lol
@@parkittdynoandsuspension I had my 675 tuned to my custom exhaust and max hp was 89hp so not sure if different tuners use different dynos to get hp results??
89? defo something wrong there. even the de-tuned street triple made more. either there dyno is out, or there is osmething wrong with the bike. @@targetoz5470
@@parkittdynoandsuspension the bike pulls like my old 954 CBR goes really hard, the dyno guy did say something about different types of dynos and something about tuning the bikes in at certain loads that would be similar to road conditions??
I’ve recently purchased tune ecu for my 675r not for mapping as you say I’d rather get it dyno’d than mess with it myself ,but for general maintenance ,I’ve tried to lower the temp my fan kicks in but I can’t find the option ,do you need the obd lx adapter for this ?I’ve got one of the cheaper ones as recommended by tuneecu as I’m not mapping ,any help would be appreciated cheers.
you can connect and get data but pre-13 has to used a cable and the windows version. BUT the windows version is very "clunky" and connection can be hit-and-miss. I try not to use it now.
@@Empty_10guy if its been mapped already then it may be something that wont happen? was the AIS turned off? our ecu maps are £425 but without having the bike here we could never say for sure that we could engineer them for you.
@@parkittdynoandsuspension Likelihood is, the over-fueling in that region relates to keeping the components (valves, Exhaust runners etc) cooler and stops them from getting too hot. Especially at peak power.
we use the Pro Licence.... which seems to be only valid for three years now. however, we will be switching to woolich racing when they release. it will put the cost up but be a more stable platform - The android version of Tuneecu has goven us no problem but the windows version is unworkable for me - too unstable.

Depening on the year of the bike we usew either TuneECU or Woolich racing. you dont need a PCV
Not bad results, what are your thoughts about adding a power commander with the tune? I saw a vid on TH-cam and they got 131hp. Thoughts?

Hi what's the price to get 675 dyno tuned
£280 for a custom map
Do you do any cylinder head work
we dont im afraid - we build engine but dont tune them. for that, we farm the tuning side out to a 3rd party compnay.

I have only used the LX if im honest and not tested any others so cant say.....
Is the EOBD OBD LX Bluetooth adapter compatible with gen 1 675 str mine is a 2011 mod

@@parkittdynoandsuspension Thanks
Did this bike have an aftermarket air filter?
sorry - we cant recall if it did or didnt
Im looking to add popping and bangs to my 765rs is this something that can be done via tuneEcu?
Engineering them is not ideal….. it’s commonly thought it’s just a setting we use but in reality it’s a number of factors.
@@parkittdynoandsuspension Is it something you can do and if so what sort of cost? Bike has been Dyno mapped already just miss the noise ha.

Well done bud, you just took all of the component protection fueling out lol.

Too bad that the greedy person behind TunECU now requires 5 licenses to be bought, and to be renewed annually.
