This Man is giving us tips and lessons that people take years to learn or they pay so much money for training. But Naska does it here on TH-cam for free. Respect and thank you!
“OMG, I really have no idea how they do it” is the most real thing you could say. Thanks for being genuine, your videos are always inspirational, educational, and fun to watch
Alberto, I've ridden many years now on the track, but broke my right upper leg on a bike accident on the road. It's 3 years now and not healed yet. So I still ride on the track and I want to go faster, but safe because I don't want to crash. So I'm analyzing my riding. And your channel is hitting the nail on the head! Man thank you!! You can see that: A:You know what you're talking about B:You're intelligent approach of analyzing what you're doing C: Sharing your knowledge! Man, I'm so thankful for that last one! Greetings from Holland🇱🇺 Ps:I'm an amateur racer longing to become like you. 😉
@@AlbertoNaskaDELETED WOW well done you are a continual surprise! I don't know what are you still doing in Italy, but this is your choice ... there aren't many young people with your determination and smartness. By the way, two essential things: 1. when you recover from your injury you are formally invited as my guest in DUBAI for a deep MX training section, because I saw your video and you need it! 2. Try to think how we can cooperate, because I need people like you and I'm quite sure we can do something great. Last but not least: guarda avanti e GAS aperto ( e non solo in moto)!!!
My professionnal project is to become an engineer in the paddock, helping riders to go faster. You're helping me a lot, by your explanations, thank you so much. I Wish you an excellent recovery, and to stay happy!
Alberto, you are amazing. Your videos are so helpful for me, I love them. I am 70 and have been track riding for 12 months. Have never ridden before and out of all the videos I have watched yours are the best. Stay safe
Thanks Alberto! I think That is the key/Point for me! Saw Videos from better Riders (~5 Sec at Most) following me, they catch me link in your examples, because I Ride mostly a „U“ 😉👍🏻👌🏻
Just so you know, these two recommendations confirmed what California superbike school was teaching: trail braking, late apex and smooth throttle (once you opened the throttle you should not stop or chop it)
LOVE having those riding break-thrus where a locked door in your brain is suddenly opened! You're great at explaining things in a way most people can understand which is very hard to do especially when you're trying to explain things that you dont have to think about, and you just do. Thank you for all your tips, very informative and helpful on all kinds of levels of riding!
I'll never forget you coming past me at Cadwell Park on Park straight. I was on my 20year old R6, you on I think a GSXR 1000, you scared the crap out of me because you were about a foot away from me and the speed differential was big (I was full throttle). Keep up the good videos.
Hands down the best, most informative, and insightful racing instructional channel on youtube. Thank you so much, Naska. Your videos always help me shave off time and ride smarter.
Praying for speedy recovery 🙏 for our tuff boy Naska Today this video is going to be helpful for me coz I bought 2019 R1 and I am still trying to figuring out why my lap time slower then my old R1 2007
Another effekt of this way of taking turns is that when you get it right the exit is the dramatic change in visual information and feeling. You go from having a turn that look and feel narrow and hectic, to a wide open panorama with lots of space and lots of time. Taking the turn much more like the Pro - even if you do not brake as far into the corner makes a dramatic difference - work on the curve first then add braking deeper and accelerating earlier once you got the curve.
I don't remember how I stumbled across ur videos but they're a real treasure. Thank you for showing proper techniques to boost ur command over the machine. Being a nube squid on a litre bike I have no doubt watching and learning is going to save me and my R1 a ton of road rash.
'spigolari' I think that's what you said?! I think we'd say 'square the corner' a 'v' instead of a 'u'? Good to see you back thank you, and a speedy recovery Naska 👍🏍️😁
Your videos are both fun and educating. Learning a lot by watching you. No where near as good as you and Will never be,but you make me what to be better. Lots of Love from Sweden

Hey Alberto, USA rider, we call this Italian term “squaring off” carry more speed deeper into the turn which you have to slow down more due to making a sharper turn (the V instead of the U) but you it allows you to get the bike pointed in to the exit quicker.
I am using crutches after injuring myself on a motorcycle. I know. I will tell people how to ride a motorcycle. Hahaha. I love the irony of your intro... In seriousness, though, thank you for the content, and I wish you a speedy recovery.
Good luck with recovery, in intro I can see you already lost some muscles in your leg. Lots of workout in the future for you to get in shape. V to you.
thank you for this video. As They say at Yamaha Champion School, trail breaking is Lighter longer, better to get on the breaks later and lighter into the corner to help steer the bike
@@hongthainguyen5334 no that’s different, squaring of means changing direction of bike by sliding rear wheel , late on breaks and aggressive throttle that makes a v shaped line which is usually referred to as squared line
Today I was 21 years old, I learned, that my street driving line is a pro racetrack line… without ever being on any racetrack, never raced on some mini races except 5x e-Gokart, and never ever had any driving/racing coach after drivingschool… lol
I watched this the day before my first ever track day at Donington Park, UK. Such an awesome video and I applied as much of this theory as I could, and I can honestly say it helped so much and really gave me extra confidence! Thanks so much for the tips!
Excellent analogy and break down of riding data Alberto, so what I'm grasping here is by using the V line instead of a U line you are trail braking almost to the apex which let's you take advantage of the your bikes geometry, you have less trail and a steeper rake deeper into the corner helping to get the bike turned faster, you'll also be at max lean angle at your slowest speed when you have the least available traction, now the bike is pointed towards corner exit so you start standing the bike up while applying smooth but constant throttle also getting on the meat of the tire preventing the highside while also sliding/steering with the rear which is also getting the bike turned as well. Your either on the gas or brakes with less time at constant throttle hence faster lap times.... it all sounds so easy I will apply this at my next track day Alberto....hahaha
OMG, I just wish I could like and subscribe twice to each video to show that I don’t just like it, but really really like it! Keep up the great work Naska! Going to go out and practice this on track next week!
Alberto, thanks for your videos, this thing is making me go a little faster every time, big appreciation for sharing your knowledge! It is really valuable.
Awesome explaination as always, but one thing you missed to mention was why you keep the brakes into the corner: it's not as much as to slow down, but mostly to keep the front fork from raising and bouncing, therefore keeping some load on the front tire!
Thanks a lot for all yours videos and our passion. I am recovering too , heel fractured, one plate and 8 screws. So i know your frustation ;-) Good recovery to you and a thousand thanks from France. Fabrice, a French Rider.
Really good advice. Previously I was riding smaller bikes, where I was able to carry more corner speed and I‘ve been trying to do this on the big bike which doesn’t work and I get frustrated on why I’m slower than others. Really good to see step by step what to do and I’ll definitely be taking your advice into my next track day. Thanks

Thank you for your best work Alberto. I wish speedy recovery and come back stronger than before.
Awesome to see you out of the back brace!! For the brake feel, I was told to push my bike back and forth in garage or parking lot. lightly pulling on the brake to feel the pads drag and feel when they bite.
Another brilliant video! Like quite a few people I have been trying to get faster for a while but I am stuck. Still having fun at the track and theoretical knowledge to be faster, but cannot put it into practice. This video encourages me to keep on trying. ive only done 2 trackdays, best corner i did this, was not on purpose i was overtaking on the straight and braked super late so was either crash or just send it into the corner while still on the brakes so i sent it and it felt amazing. Not game to do it on purpose though

Great video. I think the technique to bring brakes deep into a corner and gradually releasing them is called "trail braking".
