@rudyhonings yeah - the chap who did this used to crap music but i dont have the original now.

The OEM was removed to make way for the translogic which is far better in terms of the sensor type but as it plugs into the yamaha loom the quickshifer kill times remain the same.

we machined one down :0)

Depening on the year of the bike we usew either TuneECU or Woolich racing. you dont need a PCV

@@Thisguyhereplus not completed yet - the build went to the wire and although we have run the bike and mapped it we don’t get to video it as the priority was completing it….. the bike is back with us for more upgrades so we are going to try and do one….. I do have the power figure though for as she stands…

@@danthomas86 because something is wrong. What exhaust does it have? Does it have a baffle? What was the starting figure before the remap?

@@parkittdynoandsuspension it does have a baffle in and a universal dB killer on the inlet side of the muffler..can only assume thats the route cause...wondering if the stock exhaust would flow better 🤷...for reference full throttle, fifth gear before was 88hp, 94 after ....I appreciate some dynos are more optimistic than others too

@@VFactory-vl5fi you can indeed add it to a Gen 1. You get a new sensor and rod.

@@constantinosschinas4503 hard to say as I haven’t flashed one but the fuel modules (rapid bike included) have access to ignition and fuel which is really the bulk of it unless you wanted access to electronic throttle maps (where applicable) then fuel modules can get you well on the way to a good tune. Ecu access takes it that step further…. But night and day? I don’t know….

@@parkittdynoandsuspension I had the same aspect that 90% of the result (whatever that is) can be achieved with an extra ecu (rapidbike as a one click alternative that uses native lamda) but talked to a guy who sweared that flashing is the way to go and added ecus still are much capped by the built in electronics and the result is like 50% of a flash.

there is a 008 but not a 808

I want to buy an Ohlins steering damper with code 808. Does that mean it's fake? The seller said it was taken from a motorbike

@@constantinosschinas4503 we do indeed map them…. The PC6 has smaller increments for more precise fuelling.

As a Brit living in Spain removing the cat is totally illegal plus it will not pass the Spanish MOT emissions test. Is that emissions test not part of a UK MOT? - I've been away for 20 years - just curious.

@@parkittdynoandsuspension , I took my 2005 Z1000 with me to Spain and matriculated onto Spanish plates. I had a full Akropovic 4 into 1 titanium system which cost me £800 back then but had to put the standard system back on as it failed the emissions, I wasn't going to do that every year so I ended up selling the Akropovic, which was beautiful. Still have the Z1000 though.

@@ChumiStu they are good but for the 09 blade I’d recommend a ECU flash rather than a fuel module and a stand alone shifter.
