“Indeed!” says Member number three, “how can we be certain of the physics or math?”
“What if it is proved that the sun is ultimately the cause?” Member number four suggested.
“I think more data is needed, the results carefully scrutinised and evaluated,” Member number three stated.
“Yes, and then a ballot held to see who is in agreement!” Member number two agreed.
“Ah! but if it is decided that the window is the cause and the solution to our predicament, then which window should be opened, and just how far?” Member number three postulated.
“Indeed, and for how long?” Member number one queried.
“And who shall be responsible for this task?” Member number two gasps.
“Well, obviously, someone else! Member number one rasps!
After much debate, they all duly voted, voiced their respective interests, and discussed, digressed, discussed again.
Thus, in the car, they sat, going on in strange paradox, deciding only to be undecided, resolved only to be irresolute, adamant for drift, solid for fluidity, all-powerful to be impotent.
A motion was held, dubiously ratified, altered, ratified yet again, until all concluded; it was definitely 'someone else's responsibility, moral duty even, to open the said window.
While they waited for somebody else to open the said window, all sadly expired from heatstroke!
Thus, they were enshrined, car and all, encased in a grand tomb, built from bricks of hedonistic self-indulgence.
The mortar holding them in place, made from pointless rhetoric (which was in abundant supply), poured from a bucket labelled procrastination.
And on the grey stone door was carved an ode…
They deliberated and procrastinated
Argued, while dourly emancipated
Never wavered, never paused
Fine semantics, eulogised every accord
The group to a man, all, every single one
Signed their names, and nothing was done!
CUGER BRANT
Funny the last few of these COP meetings have been held in OIL RICH nations and of course the deals we get are crap.
stop big oil companies!
Same company as energy companies who want expensive renewables
Shut the boondoggle down, climate nonsense is done
@@michael2275 tell that to the huge abundance of hurricanes hitting my state more and more each year because the Ocean is so goddamn hot now.
In agree richer countries should help out poorer countries the UK needs all the help it can get 😂
First of all, why the fuck are we paying for it? Second - the cheek. To get free money and then ask for it to be doubled.
Because you stole it from them during colonization (West India Company).
@@michaelkorbel4442 No we traded.
@@kevinh4869 The "Opium War" was therefore trade.
@@michaelkorbel4442 Yeah, we still traded for silver.
Also since they have now colonised us, we are even. But we gave them their country back and left, they're still here destroying ours so... actually they owe us.
Simple, because Fossil fuel is a get rich quick scheme that harms everyone.
No only climate change, it also generates pollutants and microplastics.
Plastic that use chemical that can turn frog gay btw (well, not really, but you get the point)
And it is made by using fossil fuels, just ask any petrol chemical where plastics are from.
And pollutants... well go near a Coal fired plant and see for yourself.
Same for anything petrol.
Only gas generates little.
So the other countries that are not rich are asking richer countries to pay for the damages caused to the earth, and also as insurance they do not go "well, why not? why not can we do the same?".
And can we be explained as to how exactly giving a country a couple of billion stops "climate change"?
Focus on the shaming labour.
Save hypothetical future poor people from starvation by starving the poor people right now! That's the effect on the people on the edge of energy poverty when you push global prices up due to dogmatic energy policies. Brilliant work, chaps!
Finally something we can agree on! Not a penny to them!
Good, save us billions!
My thoughts are that if a poorer country accepts money from a richer country then they are dooming their inhabitants to energy poverty.
The government is guilty of treason.
Don't give them anything. This is a shakedown, pure and simple.
Good hope this gravy train comes to an end soon
China is still classed as a developing nation
2nd or 1st biggest economy in the world
Bad money, nasty oil, cruel animal agriculture. Wicked. Can't even say the most true and accurate words without being censored. What is a better or more appropriate term than F that S.
Poor countries are not emitting. So for them not to go to use fossil fuels which they have as free resources in their country, someone has to pay. Rich nations emit highly so they have to pay.
beggars can't be choosers
Pay us now! Or we go home!
ONE BIG SCAM
Ed Miliband? Yes we have lots in our own country suffering because of this. We don’t want our taxes going to this. NO! ENOUGH!
“ We cant launder money because we don’t have any!”
So this is just about grifting?
Yep!
Always follow the money. The science is paid for
It's a shakedown!
None the money only go's to corrupt officials, while the people still suffers plus no matter how much money we give these countries do not improve they will always be poor
The money needs to be invested in their own countries. There will NEVER be enough money for poorer countries. If they walk out of the meeting, let them...they should get NOTHING
The Climate Grift is falling apart😂😂
Good, it’s all bollox
Ed will probably offer to pay it all.
What makes people so arrogant to believe that Humans must exist indefinitely, anyway? The world will continue spinning with or without us. Let us live our lives now and stop making us miserable.
“Fuck the future, I’m a greedy fuck and want all our kids to have a worse life” is all I heard you say.
Humans won't be around in another 1000 years! Be lucky if we're still be around in 300 years the way the world is heading.
@@Worldsamess2024 300? That's extremely optimistic.
@@Worldsamess2024ya right humans will only be no more in 300yearz as you said but because of what terrible things created by scientists, they are the main inventors of what we use and even what we eat and even how the human race might be destroyed by inventing weapons of mass destruction and this climate change is just another way for them to get more and more money by using young activist whose still very wet behind the ears to explore their overeducated minds for situations that was created by them the scientists themselves.
People can't live now food prices going up, energy prices going up. We need to do something about that. Spend money now save huge amount later. It should be a complete no brainer.
weve already been fleeced the purse is closed!
dont give them a penny
And there I was thinking that the transition pays for itself…… 😮 Now who told us that?
...all that counts is money ...the greediness for it ...they only care about it ...billions, trillions sums of money , what for ? ... their hypocritic care about climate sounds like a practical joke ...
The Larger countries that claimed these poor countries and their own 100 yrs ago or so. Disgusting how larger countries mine and drill and cut down trees in these poorer countries. Then feel no responsibility to contribute to the countries clean up and rehabilitations of many very diverse ecosystems. The money is insane that they are talking about. I hope to dee a huge change by 2050!
I have to wonder how money will prevent the rise of CO2 in the atmosphere?
Bad framing of it tbh. The narrative is so screwed. There is no longer term energy security or food security without us undertaking more sustainable practises. That's just a fact. At some point fossil fuels dry up, our soil quality degrades to the point you can no longer grow food.
It should be a complete no brainer to act, the fact we didn't decades ago is disgraceful. There is no economy without ecology.
Where is influential, courageous, inspirational Greta to lecture them all and solve everything like people think she can
End Chemtrails.
You haven’t explained the unique needs of the poorer countries.
Where there's BAME there's a claim.
Its a grift.
Goodbye then, hope the champagne was chilled enough for you!
