    I remember a few decades ago when they first came out with windows where you could flip a switch and they would turn from transparent to translucent. I don't know how much electricity is used to get that effect, but I suspect they are either prohibitively expensive (to manufacture or use) or not reliable.

      Oh, that’s interesting. It could have cost quite a bit to manufacture the toilets. But we can use them for free!

      I think the reason why Japanese people still wear masks is because of their national character. In Japan, there is a lot of peer pressure. So they cannot stop it even though they think it's inefficient. It would be nice if everyone would stop it all together haha.
