I lived in Japan for almost 9 years. The food is amazing there. AND it's reasonably priced. I never feel like I am ripped off in Japan. Here in the UK, the restaurant food is of poor quality and it is really expensive for what it is, I always feel ripped off. I have to say. Japan has a very high standard and I love it. The UK has a low standard compared to Japan. Not just about food, but everything in Japan works well and the people take pride in whatever it is they do for money. It is an amazing place. I love Japan.

Being from America, we have lost this sense of community entirely. This was very pleasant, to see people spending time together in an urban setting with no crime or violence of any kind taking place.
The Japanese are the majority here. In America, "diversity" is cherished more than commonality. Unbalanced numbers through forced diversity creates chaos and disorder...
Good infrastructure and walkable cities make this possible. America has been destroyed by highways on top of highways. I had this Yatai experience in European countries as well, especially those that don't rely on cars to get everywhere.
Crime doesn't pay. Most crime is committed by people who cannot pay. That means tickets, fines, Civil Asset Forfeiture (violates 4th, 5th, and 14th amendments yet...). Also, police have no duty to police. All ending in a spiral.
I love what you all do. These videos expose a unique and beautiful part of the universe to people like me who haven't had these experiences. The community places like these foster is so life-giving.
After watching this video makes me want to fly to Japan just to eat at this place. All that food looks delicious, plus it looks like a really friendly atmosphere.

Such a nice humble restaurant owner. The connection between him and his customers is absolutely genuine. You would never see anything remotely close to this in America. Where the restaurant business is so cutthroat and vicious. I wish this guy continued success.
What I love about all of these type of food outlets is the ingenuity that goes into designing them. No space is left unused, although I fear that Healh & Safety laws here in the UK would mean we'll never get to see such stalls in our towns and cities 😢

So great to hear you enjoyed the Yatai on your visit! Do you remember what dishes you liked the most? Hope you will get to visit again someday!
Not really, you're just exaggerated
The food looks delicious! The love he has for his work really shows. This looks like such an intimate way to share food. I would love to eat here one day
I love everything about this food stand. The proof is in the smiling faces that surround the chef and the joy he brings to them.
The people who gathered around by the street in the same car looks amazing no matter the food itself but the atmosphere of harmony.
Man. I desperately want to visit Japan and visit ALL the food carts. They all have such wonderful character.
Hope you'll get to visit someday!
just remember yatai are a specialised feature of fukuoka and are not found everywhere in japan, when i moved to osaka to live i was DEVASTATED that it didnt have the yatai culture of fukuoka
ps. plz order TONSOKU
That's how most of Asia is. Hospitable and happy unlike in the West where even a glance at the Chef just makes you more depressed.
It's strange that Japan seems to be a civilized country. There are no basic rules of cleanliness and hygiene. He stands all day, where is the toilet? Where do I wash my hands? How many food problems are there?
The heartwarming thing about this video is seeing people reunited and laughing while talking and eating good food in great company. This is what we need in the US and many other countries as well where there is lack of communication. God Bless this guy and his friends and customers.
Japan has the highest rate of suicides..😅😅😅
Nobody is social over there..
What gorgeous bride and groom ❤️. The food looks so delicious!
This young man is amazing and very inspiring! He deserves to be very successful. Thank you for sharing his story with us! Much love from Phoenix, Arizona US. ❤
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment! Glad to hear you enjoyed this story, and hope you'll tune in again sometime!
Yoo America you need booger n Zola Zola
This was such a wonderful video! I’m grateful for being able to see the way he had created such a welcoming place for the community around him!
thank you for having english subtitles.. videos like these wants me to go visit japan for the food.. and the people looks so very respectful too.. watching from the philippines ❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
couldn't find any subtitles, CC didn't work for me :/
Philipina is Tagalog, kumusta, mahal kita 🫰, salamat
just stumbled upon this video and I gotta say love the way you edited this. It's not your typical video covering some one in the industry. The way you use the different cuts through filming it is greats its feel different hard to explain but really good. I really enjoyed! Food looks great i can smell the grilling through the screen and the owner seems super nice and passionate about this craft especially with the regulars!
Mad respect for someone who does everything by themselves. You can't get burnt out if you love what you do. The day this man no longer has the passion, is the day this man will retire, but it's on his term!
The fact that they choose to eat there at their wedding day says it all, has to be absolutely awesome 💯
Japanese food in Japan is reasonably priced??? Please...
Zehahaha funny
Working on a foodtruck with many customers, feeling the vibe , i love this video!
The best times of my life!
Lots of hard work, but worth it.
Serving pulled pork and chicken in different ways, with salads and the best fries here in Stockholm Sweden was a great experiense.
Maybe another run?🤗
we will see...
Greetings from Sweden🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
Would love to try your pulled pork&chicken&fries someday in Sweden! Wish you all the best!
It's soulful to see people so hard-working and determined in life.
So Liberals did screw America
In America we greet each other with curses and brass knuckles. If an American kicks you in the groin, foreigners should consider it a great honor
Just people being people. Making community. Love this.
I love what you all do. These videos expose a unique and beautiful part of the universe to people like me who haven't had these experiences. The community places like these foster is so life-giving.
Thanks so much for the lovely comment and happy to hear you enjoy our videos! Stay hungry for more!
After watching this video makes me want to fly to Japan just to eat at this place. All that food looks delicious, plus it looks like a really friendly atmosphere.
I don't know about that chicken on the bone but everything else looked delicious and he seems like such a heartwarming guy to be around. His customers were laughing a lot so must be a fun place to be wish him all the best.
No the chicken is the only thing that looked good
Agreed, I'd never eat chicken where some parts are still very pink.
That chicken looked mad raw .
@@reginaldforthright805 raw chicken... how appetizing :D
Woah.. I wasn't expecting the newly married couple... very nice touch to the video. I like how they were open to being filmed.
God bless this hardworking young man.He always has a smile on his face and carries a positive attitude with him.The best part is that he loves what he does.
No bless, Japanese doesn't believe in religion
Japan is an amazing country, I’ll always remember my visit there.
Fukuoka is a hidden gem of Japan, and your travel video beautifully showcases its charm! 🗾🌸 From the vibrant street scenes to the tranquil temples, I felt like I was right there exploring alongside you. Thanks for sharing the sights, sounds, and flavors of Fukuoka. Can't wait to see more of your adventures in this enchanting city! 🚶♂🍜
Sweden Stockholm Syndrome
He touched the dog and touched the food. Perfect organic flavor!
lol
You're so sweet, perhaps you want to eat deggo
You wipe your arse with paper and never washed your hand perfecty okay for western hypocrisy
Wow towards the end he says “I’m exhausted” but still is smiling and working hard. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 the food looks great and all of the people there laughing and enjoying the time was awesome to see. Great great great job keep up the amazing work! Greetings from Las Vegas, NV USA
Incredible to see how ingenuous this set up becomes and the level of dedication to make and give great street food.
Love it, wish we had something like that with our locals. Not being able to speak Japanese I would feel a bit out of place there but it looks such fun
I really admire and have big respect for Japanese culture ,even acquired some ways of life and aesthetics through it..feeling nostalgic for a bygone era
I’ve been here - it’s in my Fukuoka video - and definitely vouch for this place! KUROchan - good food, good prices, really casual yatai…recommend!
Most yatai are also like that but you can’t go wrong with this one and Fukuoka is an underrated part of Japan.
Not really

Heartwarming video. Hardworking, passionate and cool guy. Would sit down immediately and try some of the dishes.
Congrats to the married couple, wishing them a wonderful life together, I'll guess they will be stopping by and have some more meals there.
Best wishes from the Netherlands.
Arigato 🙏🏻
Thanks for watching and for your kind comment! Greetings from Japan!
you can tell this guy puts his heart into everything he makes. love it! hello from seattle :) hope to come try some food one day.
I love the great laughter and chatting in the background of the video, everyone their is having a great time, I would love to run a restaurant like this man one day!!
Simple concept of food seems to comfort us in a magical way..
No space is left unused, although I fear that Healh & Safety laws here in the UK would mean we'll never get to see such stalls in our towns and cities 😢
such a warm and welcoming place. absolutely japanese are one of the most beautiful and loving people.
Going Japan and eating on small stall like this is on my no 1 bucket list.
This was really cool to watch. This seems so much more fulfilling then working a regular job. A lot more work for sure, but man, you can truly tell this guy loves doing this.
The wedding couple must be one of the most wholesome things I've seen.
Wow! One of your best episodes, and best Yatais yet!
Just one man to run the entire stall. That's fantastic! Respect to him!
One man stall seems to be common. I have noticed a few stalls with two workers. Perhaps a husband and wife team?

Moochas Gracias
Hi from the USA. Love everything about Japan. You guys have an awesome culture over there 👏.
Thank you so much!
The newlywed couple look so cute! Lovely! I wish them a long happy life together. And the restaurant owner is a good hard working man it seems. Takes Pride in his work. Japanese language sounds very pleasant. If God all mighty granted me a second life of this earth I would learn Japanese, travel to Japan, and learn more about these great people.
This just blows me away. Japan is so rich in culture like this that it makes me feel like I wish I was born in Japan.
weird fetishization
You can feel the warm conversations and such a safe atmosphere! I would love to live in Japan 🇯🇵,, the culture, people, government, safe, beautiful, and so much more could be said about Japan. Greetings to the chef 🧑🍳 may you bring more people happiness from your cooking! 👋🏼
man these little yatai things are cool as hell, with all the work that's done to setup it's like a cozy little restaurant
Watching these videos make me want to visit Fukuoka😊 maybe i’ll add it to my trip when I visit Japan ❤
I hope you can. It's been many years since I spent time in Fukuoka, but I thought it was the most livable city in Asia with a special and friendly vibe, and it looks even better today.
Never been to Japan, never tried any of the food shown in this video, and I don't speak a single word Japanese.
But it looks delicious and seems very cozy. The same feeling campfire with friends gives me. I'd like to try it! Pretty sure one day I'll visit Japan and will find a Yatai. Guess I'll be staying there till late in the evening
I have tried the foods and is more like boiled and soggy and don't taste good that much just over-hyped
OMG the wedding photo is probably sooo adorable especially since they have key memories there.
Что мне нравится в японцах так это отношение к мелочам.
Что бы они не делали они делают это с любовью.
Огромное спасибо, я каждый раз узнаю я
Японию с разных сторон.
