You can do that on the hardbody as well find a path finder auto cluster paint the drive indicator black and turn the rom potentiometer to less resistance since the cluster is got a 6 cyl and you want it to read the 4 cyl

is it possible to open that junkyard cluster up and get the milage thats on the install truck?i ask cuz i found a 1990 2200 base model with only 40k on it.had a 93 2600i back in the 90s,got 230k out of it loved that truck!anyway base model doesnt have tach and that kinda sucks but dont wanna swap unless i can get milage correct.any help appreciated thnx
Hey I just put a used gague cluster with a tachometer into my Mazda b2200, the odometer is about 150,000 miles more than before I did the swap, any solutions?
Thanks for making this video. I would like to do this once I find a cluster worthing picking up at the junk yard. Was wondering how to have the odometer milage on the new cluster with tach match the old culster without the tach?
So my 87 b2200 I did the tach cluster swap and I never had to change any wires in the plugs and everything worked as it should the cel came on and the clock works
Really? Well that saved you some work for sure. That’s why it’s good to check first. Every 80sv model so far I have seen hasn’t worked right off the bat so you definitely got lucky
On my stock cluster of my b2200 89, my fuel measurer just stays on one place(half tank). It doesn't go up or down. Do you know anything on that problem?? Thanks for all this videos🔥💪💪
Could be a couple things, the fuel sending unit could be stuck and might need replacing. The cluster could be the one that's stuck or malfunctioning as well. Mine is starting to move all over the place when I drive so I know something is wrong as well
I'd check and make sure the speedo cable is attached correctly on the back. Sometimes it feels like it goes and clicks but it doesn't completely and the mph won't move
Hi I have a 89 b2200, and I would like to ask how do I fix or replace my fuse box because all the fuses are fine, it’s the box that might be fried or something, because only 3 fuses light up when I test it. It fried because I was trying to install a stereo and a wire touched the stereo and now my fuse box doesn’t work, and my interior like also doesn’t work. How could I fix all of this? Thanks
You would need to find a factory box at a junkyard or somewhere and swap everything over. There’s no tutorial on this but it should be easy enough to swap things over to a new box if you get it
Buenas noches o días mi nombre es wilmar cardona de Colombia quisiera hacerle una consulta tengo una b2200/97 el cluster ya esta deteriorado el indicador de rpm no le funciona quisiera cambiarlo pero le quisiera consultar de que modelo de mazdas serie b le sería compatible puesto que he buscado el original de ella acá en Colombia no lo he logrado encontrar cual le serviría. No se que modelos o años toco en Colombia pero aquí en USA la B2200 nada más se vendió entre 86-93 y esos son los únicos clusters que le quedan de fábrica

There are some tutorials online that you can follow or find someone that can do it for you. We don’t mess with that in particular

I took my cluster apart on my 91 b2600i my rpm my gas and my engine temp all work but my mph does not work
