I believe he'd be Alive if We'd have stayed together. He had 2 children and never married their mom's because he said he never stopped loving Me. 😔 ❤️🩹
It might sound crazy, but I think people would have a whole new appreciation for "A Star Is Born" with Barbra and Kris, if it were re-released in theaters today. The music holds up, and scenes like this are what made the movie a favorite for both Barbra and Kris fans.

Best scene in the whole movie. I saw it when it came out in 1976, I was 14 then. I loved this movie and of course own it too! I've watched it so many times and always have to watch this "love scene" over and over again!! I even have the vinyl record of all the songs in the movie. Kris & Barbra had great chemistry to do this film. Barbra Streisand is an amazing actress and singer/song writer. A voice no one can touch. Love this scene and when they're in the tub with all the candle's, so romantic!!

I can't think of any major movie actor who could play a romantic scene better than what Kris Kristofferson does here. For someone so alpha male to play this scene so simply and with such vulnerability is really impressive. He's great like this throughout the movie.
Elvis Presley was offered the role. I think he could have been a serious actor if he would have had better management. He should have taken a chance on it. Although Kris Kristofferson is good and gorgeous in it. I think either of the two men are way too attractive for Barbra Streisand. I think a more attractive actress would have made it more realistic.

I just rewatched this movie for the first time I don't know how many years. I saw when it came out, and I was 13, and was utterly enthralled with Kris even then. But now, older than he was then, I am blown away by how impossibly gorgeous and sexy and adorable he is. The way he looks at her in this scene moves me on a visceral level. And this song ... man oh man. When I learned it was co-written by Leon Russell, I was like, "Oh, of COURSE." It has that amazing sound that I've always associated with him. There's so much more I could say about this scene and the entire movie, of course ...
I saw A Star is Born(2018) and A Star is Born(1976). I have to say that both movies are terrific. I do find that Barbra and Kris had a certain sensuality that was missing in the 2018 version.

There were 12 minutes of footage edited out of Bradley Cooper's version that showed him and Lady Gaga spending a lot of time writing songs. That would have have built more of the bond rather than Jackson being drunk their entire time together.
One of my favorite movies! Saw it when it came out in the seventies, fell in love with Kris. Named my son after him, and still love him today! Memorized all his moves , and had many dreams about him.lol
I've seen this movie at least ten or more times and each time I have watched it it became more to me, as I have grown up a bit more and have learned how to appreciate a great love and an appreciation for great actors who can make it seem so absolutely real. I absolutely love this scene. It shows a preciseness of the moment they (the characters) fell in love. I cry every time. I am lucky to have this in my life. My single friends just laugh at scenes like this and write it off as fluff. They just haven't had the experience I suppose. I'm so glad I get to appreciate it for what it was meant to give to the audience. Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this video. It is never on t.v., for years I have always waited for it but it never gets aired. Yet so many ridiculous movies get played over and over again. I also have never ever seen it for sale anywhere. How much more appropriate the song from this film, The Woman in the Moon, has become these past couple of years! Ms Streisand should take a show on the road with Leah Michelle singing this with her, along with No More Tears/Enough is Enough with Jennifer Hudson and other songs from her catalog with any other female singers who feel strongly enough to bring this message to the entire USA. This movie goes right to my heart. Never could or will anyone top this. Gaga and Cooper were equal. But this is GOLD. The endings were so different. John Norman did not kill himself. Jackson did and that was eerie. Soundtrack to this movie I still have on vinyl.
There are some projects where the parts are better than the whole, and for me, this is one of them. No one can fault the commitment of Streisand and Kristofferson to their roles - they bring truth to these little slices of life.
I loved this movie. The acting seemed so real. I really do think that they fell in love while filming this movie. This movie connected me more than any other. They weren't acting. They lived the parts.

i was a freshman in high school when this movie hit the screen. I wept right along with Esther at the accident scene when he died . Bought the album soundtrack and played it to death and recorded it on classic VHS when it finally appeared on the movie channel....loved this movie. thanks for the post.

I was, so lucky to have him sign my album cover from this movie while I worked as an extra on a movie he was filming. I still have it. He was, so so hot then. And very sweet and visited with everyone. I love this movie

I just rewatched this movie for the first time I don't know how many years. I saw when it came out, and I was 13, and was utterly enthralled with Kris even then. But now, older than he was then, I am blown away by how impossibly gorgeous and sexy and adorable he is. The way he looks at her in this scene moves me on a visceral level. And this song ... man oh man. When I learned it was co-written by Leon Russell, I was like, "Oh, of COURSE." It has that amazing sound that I've always associated with him. There's so much more I could say about this scene and the entire movie, of course ...

I saw A Star is Born(2018) and A Star is Born(1976). I have to say that both movies are terrific. I do find that Barbra and Kris had a certain sensuality that was missing in the 2018 version.
And I have to add that even though Lady Gaga is a good singer, no one has the voice control or lungs of Barbra.

I agree in part,because Kris is more sensual and natural(and I prefer him!) that Bradley..Bradley’s character it’s a liittle odd,but Gaga is totally sensual and passionate
There were 12 minutes of footage edited out of Bradley Cooper's version that showed him and Lady Gaga spending a lot of time writing songs. That would have have built more of the bond rather than Jackson being drunk their entire time together.
One of my favorite movies! Saw it when it came out in the seventies, fell in love with Kris. Named my son after him, and still love him today! Memorized all his moves , and had many dreams about him.lol

I've seen this movie at least ten or more times and each time I have watched it it became more to me, as I have grown up a bit more and have learned how to appreciate a great love and an appreciation for great actors who can make it seem so absolutely real. I absolutely love this scene. It shows a preciseness of the moment they (the characters) fell in love. I cry every time. I am lucky to have this in my life. My single friends just laugh at scenes like this and write it off as fluff. They just haven't had the experience I suppose. I'm so glad I get to appreciate it for what it was meant to give to the audience. Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this video. It is never on t.v., for years I have always waited for it but it never gets aired. Yet so many ridiculous movies get played over and over again. I also have never ever seen it for sale anywhere. Hope others enjoy this movie.

How much more appropriate the song from this film, The Woman in the Moon, has become these past couple of years! Ms Streisand should take a show on the road with Leah Michelle singing this with her, along with No More Tears/Enough is Enough with Jennifer Hudson and other songs from her catalog with any other female singers who feel strongly enough to bring this message to the entire USA.
AND - A group of the guys, too, to do duets with, as well.

I was in my mid- teens and had met my first true Love visiting Maui Hawaii just before we both turned 14, so maybe puppy Love♡ But so Wonder~ful! and it continue too grow over the years until we married at 19 ♡

This movie goes right to my heart. Never could or will anyone top this. Gaga and Cooper were equal. But this is GOLD. The endings were so different. John Norman did not kill himself. Jackson did and that was eerie. Soundtrack to this movie I still have on vinyl.

I loved this movie. The acting seemed so real. I really do think that they fell in love while filming this movie. This movie connected me more than any other. They weren't acting. They lived the parts.

Beautiful, passionate and tragic!! Like a wonderful piece of art and I have always loved the movie! They could have reworked the ending IMO we don’t always need someone to be snuffed out! I d rather have hope than sadness it’s already to prevailing in our society! RIP KRIS WE MISS YOU! My mother loved that movie and turned me on to it! RIP MOM!
