Chris, one of the top 3 decisions in firewood is buying a commercial grade splitter. Another is buying a professional grade chainsaw. The best one was finding your channel when looking to get started in firewood. Nobody can go wrong by going back to look at your first videos to know you didn't always have the best splitter. Didn't always have a processor. You started out with wasn't really a truck for hauling firewood and still got it done per your stories. By the way, John brought me close to a cord of hickory in my latest load of logs.

As I compare your trailer with other woodyarders that have powder coated dumpers,
It appears that your N&N requires a much taller lift for the wood to be slid out the back.
Would you consider that galvanized floor to be enough of an issue to consider having it powder coated ?
If you weren't backing in too garages on a regular basis, I wouldn't mention it.
Heck ,with all the air time you give the company they might offer to do it for the cost of the paint.

Oak is 23-24 BTUs and hickory, bitternut, locust, iron wood, mulberry, osage orange, almond, apple, black birch, blue beach, and more all put out more heat than oak...osage orange is 33 BTUs and ALL the others put out more heat than oak.
