- Unfortunately today I felt the need to address the haters who leave negative and hurtful comments. I will not stand for it. Please keep this a place of encouragement and love. Times are already hard enough as it is and being bullies and downright mean will not be called for. I will Block and delete it.
Thank you to the thousands upon thousands of beautiful and encouraging messages I have received. I see you and I try to answer every single comment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here and for continuing to watch my wee corner of TH-cam.

Hey Stace, I'm a kiwi with a farm in Onewhero and talking to friends the other day - we all love your channel. You are so REAL and your beauty shines through. I would want you on my team if there was ever an emergency. I bet you're the sort of person who is first on the scene when there's a problem (like the recent Hawkes Bay flooding). As for your stove, I have an very old Shacklock (like the Atlas) and it makes the best scones and roast potatoes.

Kiwi here. Easy for me to say but you do need to immediately delete these idiots’ comments, block them and try to forget them and not let them upset your equilibrium. Their nastiness and vitriol reflects their sad, empty little lives and is definitely not about you even if it doesn’t feel like it. Sadly this platform lets any amount of weirdos comment in their appalling ignorance . I’ve only recently found you and can tell you that I absolutely love your channel. Your content is fabulous and please know that you’re appreciated, respected and enjoyed. I’m from a farming background and recently retired to some land north of Auckland and get lots of ideas and inspiration from you.

Once these hateful comments have been read and entered our psyche, it is not always easy to just ignore them sadly. They hurt my heart as well. I read these type of comments on overseas channels and cannot understand where these haters get the idea that they can get in a comment thread and just let loose on somebody in such a way. Have to say, I don't think anybody doing so will be a Kiwi like us.
I lost my beautiful nana 2 years ago and your videos bring back all my amazing memories of her teaching me to cook, the pinny u wear, the humble kiwi kitchen, the kiwi accent, the mason jars, the comfort food i grew up with, even the way u hold a spoon and whisk with it before u taste test is identical to nanas way, you are a blessing and a treasure ❤

I had oral surgery (dental implant) seven years ago. The surgeon cut a nerve. I had to have seventeen oral surgeries attempting to rectify the situation. I was in INCREDIBLE facial pain for three years. I saw many doctors in many different states. Now I am left with half of my smile. People stare sometimes. I'm used to it now. There is no pain like facial pain. I was told this by many doctors.
I was also in an abusive and destructive marriage for 26 years. I'm so very happy that you found a wonderful man.

There are so many unrealistic channels out there, people with perfect veneer teeth, and not your usual kitchens. People who were born with a silver spoon in their mouths would not relate, but people on struggle street will benifit from your show. I'm on the other side of the ditch but lived in Opotiki on an avocado orchard for nearly 9 months. Watching you always brings back such fond memories. I grew up on a small farm and wish I'd married a farmer but snagged a cityslicker instead. I'd be very sad if you stop making videos. I retire in 3 years and you are already part of my retirement plan!!!
