When I broke my ankle, I was absolutely rubbish on crutches. My friend loaned me her mother's 4 wheeled walker, with a seat. This was much more stable, I could hop for a while or sit on the seat and move myself with my one good leg and more importantly, I could stop and rest when needed.
When I was 3, my mother taught me my first “recipe:” tuna fish, for toasted tuna fish sandwiches. (Drain a can of tuna, add 2 teaspoons of sweet relish and two tablespoons of Miracle Whip/mayo. Mix it up, butter the bread, put the bottom slice on the grill, add the tuna, put on the top slice, close the grill.) That was my favorite lunch, unless we had toasted cheese sandwiches, my other favorite. I was about 30 when someone mentioned you could combine the two for a tuna melt! Heavenly! I’ve spent most of my life in the Pacific Northwest of the US, and I’ve toasted my sandwiches on a waffle iron/grill. (The metal plates flip over - waffles on one side, flat grill on the other.) I am very grateful to have found your channel - I’m learning a lot and getting new ideas to use with my old cooking skills. Thank you for all the work you put into each video - it’s really appreciated! I hope you heal in record time! Thinking of you, Cam

Such a good idea to freeze them. Here's a wee hint for you. If you put your cheese and onion in a bowl, then dribble a little boiling water over it (not much, maybe a tbl sp depending on how much you're making), then work it with a knife. You'll be able to spread the mixture and it won't fall out everywhere when you move your toasty to your machine. Way easier if you're making club sammies too. Speedy recovery❤
