Type: Washington Quarter Year: 1967 Mint Mark: No mint mark Face Value: 0.25 USD Total Produced: 1,524,031,000 Silver Content: 0% Numismatic Value: 25 cents to $28.00
I have a couple of 1968 and 1969 quarters that do not have a mint mark. What I have found was that in 1968, the mint marks were moved to the front of the coin. Have I found something worth more than 25 cents or was the lack of a mint mark planned?
This video is TERRIBLE.. this title LITERALLY says, Value of 1967 No Mint Mark Quarter and he have YET to give and SHOW the REAL VALUE and that's a REDFLAG. Then immediately goes on to tell coin history of other different coins and STILL never finished SHOWING how whatever he is showing is TRUE and what's worse is, he said the Coin book but alot of that was upgraded vs time it came out
In spite of what you said, I would NOT/NEVER sell my 1967 Washington Quarters for face value. Rarity counts. Do you know how hard it is to find one these days? I had to go through countless rolls to get the nice ones I have. They may not be as rare as the 1966 or 1968 , but they are still hard to find. Therefore they are valuable.
I have a question. I found a 1965 quarter in a change jar today which is how I wound up here because I also found a 1967. The 1965 that I have though is baffling me because it has a very high clarity of detail yet is nearly solid copper and color as if all the nickel has worn off. But I assumed if it has worn to a point where there is no more nickel on the quarter how is there still such high detail. Did I find something rare and is it worth anything? I wish I could send you a picture. You can see each and every feather detail of the eagle on the back you can even see the striations in the scroll in its talons all of the lettering is clear and crisp and you can even see the very highly detailed lines in Washington's hair yet the entire quarter is nearly copper in color. I also have a standing liberty but it is a 1927 quite worn like the one you have there. All of these were found in an old coin container that I've had for years that I got from my dad. I also found a couple of 1964 no mint nickels four of those were found, a Sacagawea dollar that has the extra feather detail, a 1998 quarter that's kind of weirding me out as well because it is copper in appearance well more like a bronze-ish than copper but not silver, yet again retaining high detail. The 1965 was the first one I found which made me go through the rest of the coins because I knew the 1965 could be worth something but I don't know a whole lot about coin collecting and if these others that I found have much value. Any advice would be appreciated
