I have 1965-1969 and some of them have errors and some you can see the lettering is doubled... I love watching your videos they have really helped me in learning more about collecting! I would like to hear from some people that know more info on how to find buyers for my coins!
Hi Elizabeth my name is Gary I'm just getting into the queen buying and selling Market myself however I would move to let you know that if you do have coins and you want to put them on eBay people who are interested in them with bid on them and you might get a pretty good price that way just a suggestion good luck
First, to Elizabeth, try to do your due diligence about your coins true worth, and only take a price you feel you should get, because most buyer's in the Business of buying will try to get some really valuable coins for next to nothing if they can, do your research. I've collected coins since I was 12 year's old. Moreover, I've been collecting the state/territories quarters sinçe the Program began in 1999. Since collecting, in the beginning, I used to take what I know now to be errors, because I truly believed them to be just damaged coins, from being in circulation. Oh, well! Sinçe learning about errors, I now own some great samples. And, as I own thousand's of. Quarters, I'm not got the time to do as much hunting. However, I want you to know that when I do, I'm finding no less than 25 or more per search, because I bought a microscope, recently, and are now finding more errors that I overlooked in the past, because I could not find them when I was using just a magnifying glass. Go figure!

It has nickle metal shreddings stamped into Gerorge's chine & throat area, Letters on front & back are smudged from hard vicious stamping, rim edges are bent different ways like a snake.. It's definitely full of MINT ERRORS... Wish me luck!! $$$$$ 👍😎

Good Evening Blue 💙 Ridge and my Coin Collecting loving family. Hey Shawn today I got my first 1970 Quarter and and again I got it from the Gas station ⛽. Like I said before man I love that damn gas station you no all together I've gotten 8 Old Quarter from them. I love it.
Did I miss something? What's with the 1970 quarter?
At 01:40, he says (of 1965 - 67 quarters) "they were only minted in Philadelphia". He is wrong.
Though 1965 through 1967 U. S. coins bore no mintmarks, they were made at all three mints (PDS) as well as other facilities (West Point...). The Coinage Act of 1965 provided for suspension of mintmarks along with other provisions designed to eliminate reasons for collecting or hoarding coinage as the entire supply of circulating silver dimes, quarters, and halves were being replaced with the new CN clad coins.

Great video Brother, you need to do a video on MSPL quarters. I have 3 1996-D MSPL quarters, as soon as this so-called virus passes, I'm sending them out to NGC for grading. There are only 4 of these graded by NGC; 3 in MSPL 66, and one in MSPL67. The 3 I have, I believe are MSPL 68/69.
They are beautiful, the value I placed on them is 5,000 per coin. I could not find any auction information on them, If you can find out anything about them let me know. I pray that you and your family are doing well. Peace 👍
Great to know, i learn alot from you thanks
I thought all three mints: P, D, & S minted coins but during the years 1965, 66, & 67 did not place their mint marks on these coins

I'm just starting to check on quarters for different things and I was wondering how on the 1965 quarter you could tell it was silver? Will the whole Rim outside be silver or will it be copper and silver but, if you weigh it it's actually silver?
I have a 1972 quarter what that worth

All 3 mints made them. A law was passed that no mint marks were allowed those years.
No sir only Philip and Denver... san fran did not produce coins from 1955 to 1967.
That '67 "Struck through", they even misspelled "Struck" on the label! lol

Pretty sure I found a 1966 with 90% silver. I work at a gas station so I get to see a lifetime of change weekly.
I need to invest in a digital scale
You say "They were only minted in Philadelphia". This is incorrect, coins dated 1965-1967 were made at Philadelphia, Denver and San Fransisco mints, without mint marks. You cannot distinguish where 1965-1967 US coins were minted.
I have one 1967 quarter dollar in my possesion, how can i sold this and where can i sold this

@@tysonkumar9779 yes how much?
As you said keep an eye on this coin by actually found it yesterday while getting change. However like I said before the 65 that I gave away kind of hurt me a little bit but if the 66 is $11,000 I'd be grateful but it's definitely double letters and no men everything looks exactly as the one on the picture
The only ones that are valuable are the ones that have been stowed away and never seen circulation since the day they were released and hoarded. If you put an MS-67 coin in circulation, it won't take long before it becomes a "common" AU-58 in minutes! To suggest folks can find a high grade in pocket change is preposterous as best and a downright lie at worst. You'd be very hard pressed to find an MS-67 sample of a 2020 in change, let alone a coin minted 45 years ago.
You are quite correct.
Not exactly true. Grandma gets coin in 1965, slips into the couch or behind the fridge. Gets swept out and taken to the bank years later. Coins wear out in minutes?? Not really.
@@bobadler3097 If you think the luster will still be there after 6 decades of grime caked on it, or chafing between sofa cushions and ass moisture... I'm thinking no.
@@louieatienza8762 fine. Rolls into a pristine drawer right into a white cotton glove. Use your imagination bubba. They're out there, if they weren't, there wouldn't be any of them...not to mention, how much ass moisture do you have on your couch? Might want to have that checked out.
@@bobadler3097 There are still rolls out there. Up until the late 60s it was very common for collectors and dealers to hoard solid date rolls and even Mint bags. You won't however, find a MS67 example of a 1965, 1966, or 1967 quarter in change. An MS67 coin may have light contact marks on the devices, but the fields should be clean. Anyone that tells you that you can find these coins in MS67 in change is full of shit frankly. The TPGs don't just give that grade out. In fact, it's a lot harder than you'd think to get a MS67 from NGC or PCGS. Don't believe me? Try sending coins in to them. At $22-$30 a pop, it gets expensive real quick, as many folks who play TPG Lotto have found out.
Thanks. SHAWN
