Thank you for sharing the video. Being yourself in front of the whole wide world takes great courage, you've already done that many times so don't be afraid to speak more. You often display special insights many others wouldn't notice, but those of us who are detail obsessed such as myself definitely appreciate that trait. Look below in the comments for multiple examples. I know for a fact some of them are the internet handles of very well known and imaginative people whose opinions are valued by many. So Ms. Blissflix, please talk more?

I think shotgun injury like that depends a lot on the distance, both because of how many pellets would hit and from how long the pellets have to slow down in the air.
Jason's first shot was from farther away and caught the guy in the shoulder. Then he ran up and was much closer and shot him more full in the chest, so that would have been a lot worse.

The island where Marie set up shop at the end of the movie is Mykonos, Greece.
If you go back and watch the scene showing Marie waking up in bed in the hotel room in Paris, you will see that she is wearing a T-Shirt with an image of the island of Corfù. I believe Jason noticed, and that 's how he managed to guess she settled somewhere in Greece. How exactly he found her is left purposefully unknown, to add to the almost supernatural competence of the Jason Bourne character.

The reason for the choice of car for marie (franka potente) was 3 fold 1 it was the mentioned in the books by Robert Ludlum. 2 it was ideally suited to the stunt work. And 3 franka potente who did do some of the driving in the non stunt sequences had only passed her driving examination in late 2000 just prior to filming some of her scenes. And the film company insurance underwriter would only cover her under a strict condition set. Which was no stunt driving of her own. A full uk advance driving test to be undertaken prior to shooting. No vehicle permitted for her use to be over 1000cc (mini used in movie when marie is behind the steering wheel is a stock 998cc model of the car as opposed to stunt car used by Matt damon in the street chase which was heavily modified structurally and mechanically being fitted with a John cooper racing performance works 1348cc rally specification engine.

Your outro take was "Was a nice movie, not too bad. Nothing too crazy. I did see some things that reminded me of John Wick."
    That's all kind of sad.
This movie came out 12 years before John Wick.
John Wick probably wouldn't have existed, or been what it is, without this movie.
This movie wasn't entirely ground-breaking in 2002, but the combo of spies, assassins, secret agencies, one guy vs. a giant organization, the car chase, the blindingly fast martial arts, some gun-fu style fighting; putting all of this together with cool characters we like had never really been done before.
Especially this style of up-close fighting with fists, pens, and close range guns.
People in 2002 walked out of the theater stunned by how awesome this movie was.
It's not your fault that you watched things in the wrong order, but the fact that you were dazzled by John Wick which was heavily influenced by Jason Bourne, but then were only "not too bad" about this awesome movie is a bit sad.
If you saw this before John Wick, you would have been dazzled by it too.

1.)The US Embassy is heavily armed because, diplomatically, it's consider "US Soil" on a foreign land, so, as such, it may be attacked as if it is America itself. In fact, in the past, Embassies HAVE been attacked for US policies on the mainland. If foreign governments allowed it, I bet US Embassies would have tanks and attack helicopters, but alas, the US does what it has to to protect itself from enemies across the globe.
2.)Raised the bar for hand-to-hand combat. It's hard to tell now (21 years later), but the Bourne movies TOOK the action movie genre by storm, elevating hand-to-hand combat scenes. Afterwards, EVERY amovie fight scene was compared to this. 3.5/5?! Maybe now. But 21 years ago, it was more like 4.5/5.
3.)LIKE John Wick?! No...decades BEFORE Wick. Wick DESCRIBES death by pencil, Bourne SHOWs you.
4.)Now that you mention it, Wick's "ex-communicado" looks like they stole the "wake-up-the-sleeper-agent-assassins-with-cool-background-music" idea from Bourne Identity.

Hi Biss, the car you liked was either a Morris Cooper / Austin Cooper both marks came from the same manufacturer. Originally created in the early `60`s as a cheaper vehicle & proved very popular. If you see any pictures from the swinging `60`s in the U.K., you could see one often custom decorated. I believe they have built newer versions in recent years.

Keep up the older film gems! Mari (Franka Potente), in "RUN LOLA RUN" 1998 (German Language) - I guarantee that you will not be bored. Also, this reminds me of a great Robert Redford & Faye Dunaway movie from the 70s, "Three Days of the Condor" - A "spy" who fights with his brain, more than his fists! Also a collateral romance. Speaking of Redford... "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" 1969, with Paul Newman. You'll fall for both of those actors, when they were young!

Gypsies = Nomadic people. Keep up the good work and as always keep it cute. Looking forward to the second Bourne movie. You did know that there are 5 total right? Matt is only in 4 of them I think.

    • @philproffitt8363
      @philproffitt8363 ปีที่แล้ว

I've been to Romania and seen that the Gypsies there are not just nomadic...they wander into towns and are a nuisance, will pick your pockets (or get their children to do it) etc... So Biss would hear Gypsy as more of an insult.

@@philproffitt8363 I was only trying to supply a word for migrating people that Biss mentioned not knowing if that was the right word. Great movie. I re-watched it again recently. Hadn't seen it in a while. Enjoyed it almost as much as the first time I watched it.
All of the Bourne movies are good that I have seen -- 1 , 2 , 3 , 5 . I gotta check out the 4th one. It gets mixed reviews. But who goes by reviews? Right? Your reaction was fun, as usual. Some comments mention that someone got on you for talking too much? Dumb. You are the main pull on YOUR channel. The song or movie is secondary, imo . Keep on r'actin .
