After the first bloodbath, McCall was able to finally get a good night’s sleep. Based on the 1985-89 TV series. The brief opening montage is one of the scariest at the time. The city streets when the sun sets is terrifying. Innocents stalked by evil, but lurking in the shadows was The Equalizer, an avenging guardian angel played heroically by the late Edward Woodward. He made you feel safe. His life lessons in the series kept me safe and reassured in real life, going home very late at night after work. His wise words ringing in my ears. Walk with confidence, not like a victim. Stay in the light with people around. Take the long way home, avoid shortcuts in dark alleys. Trust your gut and walk away or find another route. Hello Bisscute, the two actors at 8:57 are in another movie together. The movie is a remake of a movie from about 1959. It is called " The Magnificent Seven ".
The Old Man and the Sea is an awesome book. It's very short and very easy to read -- yet it conveys profoundly deep and meaningful feelings and perspectives.

A nice little throwback to the tv series… the Black Jaguar car used in the garage torture/ interrogation scene in this movie was a reference to McCall’s Black Jaguar in the TV Series
The Moustache man is Tait Fletcher. He's had some of the most painful and famous deaths. He's been killed by The Equalizer, The Accountant and John Wick.
Biss, some background on Robert, he was a former elite operative in the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency), which is very similar to the CIA, but focuses on a much different target objectives. Before that, he was a Force Recon in the US Marine Corps. The lady friend. Susan, that he seek help from to get some info works for the CIA. Apart from info, he's also seeking reassurance from her that he's not doing something bad, which would dishonor his dead wife. As usual Biss, your jump scares, laughs and giggles are always humorous and entertaining. Love your reaction. Can't wait for u to watch the 2nd film.
Enjoy Bisscute, never let them know your thoughts, just action.... Something you learn and train years for....Be safe well healthy humble kind always... enjoy the next ones too...❤❤😂😂 PS: nice how you like suspense.
Nikolaî (Martin Csokas) was born in Invercargill, New Zealand (the Land of the Hobbits). His mother, a nurse, is of Irish and Danish ancestry and his father is Hungarian.
One of my favorite "underrated" actors. He did a great job in this I think, a movie also needs a good villain to make it stand out. He also played a tremendously entertaining villain in Into the Badlands tv-show, among other things.
Thank you Biscute for being so adorable and so much fun to rewatch a movie with . If you liked this one, you will enjoy the sequel Equalizer 2. Thank you so much.
It’s great to see one of the greatest actors ever, Denzel, with a phenomenal young actress who I say will be known later in her life as a great as well, Chloe Maretz.
Definitely a badass movie! I love this whole genre - avenging angel, champion of the underdog, someone capable of inflicting great harm who strives for peace and harmony.
The movie is based on an old tv show with the same name. It was about a retired CIA operative (played by an old Englishman) who spends his time helping people in trouble. And @BissFlix, never apologize for your English, it’s extremely good. Your vocabulary amazes me. I’ve lived in Japan for 20+ years and I speak the language well, but I sure wouldn’t know “cauterize “ in Japanese off the top of my head.

Hello Bisscute, the two actors at 8:57 are in another movie together. The movie is a remake of a movie from about 1959. It is called " The Magnificent Seven ".
Oh? Might check it out someday
@@BissFlix Thank you. I could not ask for more. I've watched them both many times. I've watched them enough for the two of us. " Hey! "
Great job Biss. 👍
Thank you kindly
The Old Man of the Sea movie with Spencer Tracy is one of the best !! You should impress everybody by reacting to that old classic🌟🥊
Maybe someday I’ll get to that, who knows
:) You'll love #2, also. Thanks for this one!
My pleasure, looking forward to it
The Old Man and the Sea is an awesome book. It's very short and very easy to read -- yet it conveys profoundly deep and meaningful feelings and perspectives.
When McCall takes out the Russian Mobsters at the start...When he says "Sorry"...He was apologising to his Wife...As he said He promised he would not return...To the Person he was before Biss! Also at the end! When he turns up for the Showdown at the Store...The Song playing is by "Gladys Knight and the Pips"...To let everyone know...He is there! Early in the Movie...When some of his Co-Workers...Were trying to guess....What He did before...He said "I was a Pip" Which was one of Gladys backing Dancers and Singers! I only know this...As i have watched this Movie...Quite a few times!:p Love this Avenging Angel...Assassin Character! Denzel is amazing in this role! Keep watching this Series! Well worth it Bisscute!! ✌ ❤
Will do, I liked this and definitely looking forward to the rest. Thanks for watching
"Guns versus books".
You might be onto something Biss.
23:41 "Piorre Haanneey!.. Haanneey!"
She's adorable.. Bless her heart.. 🥰
Loved your reaction & how observant you are to details. The whole equalizer series is well worth watching.
Wow, thank you
Absolutely, I think you should watch the rest of the movies. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
you'll love the next 2 movies also
Looking forward to it
I love the Equalizer movie(s). Your reactions to the events and characters is so genuine and appropriate. LOVE your accent and your sense of humor. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series. Take care.
Oh wow
Something you learn and train years for....Be safe well healthy humble kind always... enjoy the next ones too...❤❤😂😂
PS: nice how you like suspense.
Thank you so much
English is my wife's second language, and she also turns up the volume on the TV when there a no subtitles available.
The old man and the sea: great book great movie. I highly recommend both.
Thank you for the recommendation
Nikolaî (Martin Csokas) was born in Invercargill, New Zealand (the Land of the Hobbits). His mother, a nurse, is of Irish and Danish ancestry and his father is Hungarian.
Oh really?
One of my favorite "underrated" actors. He did a great job in this I think, a movie also needs a good villain to make it stand out. He also played a tremendously entertaining villain in Into the Badlands tv-show, among other things.
Thank you Biscute for being so adorable and so much fun to rewatch a movie with . If you liked this one, you will enjoy the sequel Equalizer 2. Thank you so much.
Love the evil giggle that you get when a good guy does something evil. Very revenge minded of you lol
Haha thanks, glad you enjoyed the reaction
The loudest man in the room is never the most dangerous.
Right? You tell them Joe
Rarely but not never. I've been around some rough people and only ever met 2 who were the loudest and could fully back it up
“Maybe if you work him hard enough, he will have a heart attack”. 😏 I love this girl. You dear, are badass.
Haha thank you
Thank you Biss. Great reaction. 😊😊❤❤
My pleasure, thank you
It’s great to see one of the greatest actors ever, Denzel, with a phenomenal young actress who I say will be known later in her life as a great as well, Chloe Maretz.
"Death by knowledge!!!!!!" So adorable!!!!!!😊❤
Definitely a badass movie! I love this whole genre - avenging angel, champion of the underdog, someone capable of inflicting great harm who strives for peace and harmony.
Yes, @Bissflicks! Yes! We want to see reactions to the sequels! Your reactions are phenomenal! 🖤🌹🖤🧛
You got it
Awesome movie
Glad you liked it
The movie is based on an old tv show with the same name.
3:29 yes, and is really good. As a matter of fact, there is a movie based on the book.
Might check it out in the future
Two time Oscar winner Spencer Tracy played Hemingway’s Old Man brilliantly.
Need to get used to her reaction, but also hoping for next Equalizer 2 and then Equalizer 3
Watch all of them they are amazing
Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind
“Dirty PIIIIIGS” you are hilarious 😂
The old man in the sea is a great book, Ernest Hemingway. It's about a fisherman in a paddle boat trying to bring a fish home that he caught.
It genuinely is one of the greatest books ever written.
My favorite book is the stand by Stephen King. It is an extraordinary book, you should do a reaction to the miniseries that had Rob Lowe, Molly ringwald, Gary sinise, and Ray walston. But read the book first.

@@Nickxxx85 You are welcome, 23 was my favorite.
Thank you for reacting to this movie ❤
This was a TV series in the 1970ts .an older man put notice in the paper for people who needed help with bad situations. I really liked it and all 3 of the movies
"Death by knowledge" hahaha that was cute and awesome
If you like this movie, I bet you'd also like Taken (2008). (There are some sequels to that one, too. Taken 2 is good to watch if you like Taken, but I'd recommend skipping Taken 3.)
It's really enjoyable to see how much fun you had while watching this movie. The first Equalizer is a masterpiece. Glad you liked it so much! :)
Other really good movies by Antoine Fuqua are Training Day, Olymups has fallen and Shooter.
20:37 "You're no mere _cop._ I can _tell."_
20:38 "You're no mere _building supply_ vendor. _I_ can tell."
Hi Bisscute loved your reaction to the equalizer, it is my favourite Denzel Washington movies . Yeah I agree with the others please finish the trilogy, they are amazing especially the equalizer 2. Always enjoy watching your reactions.
Thank you, happy you love the reactions
I thoroughly enjoy this series!! My favorite is the 3rd one. All 3 are so SOOOO good. Great reaction Miss Biss 🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻💯
Hit Girl. FTW
Thanks
!he made him a piersing! so cool bissflix... love your reaction every time
There's a movie called "Nobody" that you might like. There are 3 Equalizer movies at the moment, but Antoine Fuqua has said that there may still be a 4th.
Excellent movie series, you will enjoy them if you liked this one. Don't worry about the screams its part of the experience for us!
🇨🇦 My favourite actor for years now, Denzel Washington did justice to the original series, starring Edward Woodward !
My two favourite movies of his are "Man on Fire" and "Deja Vu" 🇨🇦
Either Nobody or American Ultra would be a good follow-up to this.
Noted, thanks for the suggestion
Stumbled on the video, first watch, might watch more.
Welcome in, hope you enjoyed this and hope you enjoy the rest on your journey
Yes, do equalizer 2 and 3
Got it, hopefully in the future
40:18 "Are we not gonna see Alina, anymore? Like, something happened to her?"
Biss, that question had _very_ interesting timing.
This movie was shot in my city. And when you drive into Boston Massachusetts from route 93. You see Boston sand and gravel. It's right near our tdgarden where the Bruins and celtics play. Denzel is awesome. Training day and book of Eli very good movies
Many of us remember the 1980's TV series, "The Equalizer", I believe Robert McCall was a former CIA Operative. If I remember correctly he referred to the CIA as The Company, the historic informal name. In the movies, I believe Robert McCall is supposed to be a former Special Forces and ex CIA Operative, or some other off the books Black Ops. "If you or any members of your team are caught or killed, The Secretary will disavow any knowledge actions"
