    I'm an Iranian ,We were discovering these great songs with a lot of troubles through radio's parasites then recording them in cassettes then we were listening them with every kind of noises ,It was not so easy like some friends that have them in pubs with beautiful girls ,But I'm thinking the worth of it ❤

    I saw the Stranglers and the tough darts back in this '70s and I'm 63 now. If you want to know the way of the world you must listen to the words to Giants as well as this. Love this band.

    I was an 80s kid, but truly I never appreciated The Stranglers as much as I should have done. This, Golden Brown, Always the Sun, so many of their songs were peerless, and it's taken me this long to get it. (Similar with Human League, PhD and several others.....)

    Just heard the opening bars on The Gold on BBC 1. Was driving me mad trying to remember what the tune was, then it hit me that it was this classic 🙂

    I was a teen in 1973 and this tune still sounds top class. That snare drum is amazing. Every bit of the song well made 🎸🎤👍
