Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my query about the neckline on the Marnie and the Emma blouse. I think now I will go for the Emma blouse. I have this beautiful Lise Tailor viscose that I have been hanging onto for ages until I find just the right pattern. Loved seeing your little dogs out in the woods too.
Couldn't resist Andie. I had to go on Galston Mills website and buy some of that navy fabric for a summer top and also another piece of patchwork type fabric for a tiered skirt. Enjoyed your vlog, especially the dogs having a great time. Nice to see Cornwall again on a lovely day.
Love ❤ your waffle! Let’s hope your internet can get sorted so you can vlog for longer and easily upload 😀 Weather looks gorgeous there - such a beautiful walk - woodlands, streams and beach, it doesn’t get much better! ❤xx
Hi Andie. I loved your dog walking footage and listening to the birds twittering away in the woods. I've made both the Yvette (StyleArc instructions don't scare me) and the Helga, and love them both. The Helga has quite a lot of 'swing' at the back which I don't love so I adjusted the pattern to reduce it, but the neckline is really nice and the construction is different and fun. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
Thank you so much Janette. It’s quiet in St Ives at the moment but gets incredibly busy in the summer so we make the most of it while it’s not as crowded 🥰
I liked the larger stripe for your dress. I'm one of your recent subscribers, and I'm enjoying listening to you waffle on.😊 your dogs out enjoying the beach was precious. Give them each a hug from me. Enjoy your holiday.
I love style arc directions- I find they fit me well. The directions are to the point and allow me to think a bit. I’ve made that pattern, I used scraps to make it. Once you have the pattern pieces cut out you may be able to get it out of less yardage.
Lovely vlog as always. Your donny shirt is super cute. The smaller stripes would look great as Aria button down by Love Notions- you could play with stripes placement :)
Love the larger stripe for the Style Arc. I have that pattern and some blue and white fabric - in fact had it for 2 years 😂😂😂. Look forward to seeing yours made up. Good to have you back and sharing life in Cornwall. 😊 Lynne
Andie, your black top turned out just lovely. I used to work at a school. It's the perfect color! LOL Black, gray, navy blue were all great colors for school but not really me. The Style Arc pattern has a lovely shape. It looks like it will be a fun sew. I have the Style Arc Jema Panel Dress that I've been dreaming over Originally I thought panels in different sized ginghams, then I considered stripes, and I've also considered chambray in two shades but with the seams sewn wrong sides together so they fray on the outside. Too many options and too many fabrics already in my queue right now! Good luck with your plans. I've missed your videos the past few months. I'm glad you're back.
Yes the dark colours are definitely better for school, especially with the little ones 😂 I’ve just had a look at the Jema dress and it looks like you could have some fun with colours in that one. Thank you for your lovely comment 🥰
So, so happy to have you back!! I have been eyeing the Yvette dress for awhile. Keep wondering what it would look like to combine a stripe with a coordinating flowered, geometric, or solid fabric…..hmmmmm? I think it would look great in either one of the stripes you have in your stash.
Andie, I vote for the larger stripe fabric and I agree with you on Style Arc's directions a little vague at times! Your dogs are so cute and the beach walk is beautiful!
Thank you Jackie. I think there is a blog for making this one, which will help. I’m definitely leaning towards the bigger stripe too. The dogs love the beach. It’s a full time job trying to clean the sand from our house and car 🤣🥰
Hubby says a brew, he's from manchester. Im from down south and say a cuppa lol but were both in liverpool now 😂 Hope youve had a fab weekend, looking forward to sering your makes 😊
Hi Andie it was really nice to see you come back with some more TH-cam vlogs. Thank you for all the inspiration that you provide. Would live to see some of your crochets projects as well when you can spare the time !!
Great vlog as always! For the sleeve, you could put a pleat at the bottom of the sleeve or could put a pleat with a button fastening (if you get what I mean? 🤔) if you want to be able to pull the sleeve up. The video at the end is beautiful. I'm a Bathonian but I love Cornwall. We went to Fowey a few years ago and travelled around and fell in love with everything about the area! I haven't been to St. Ives yet - need to put it on the list!🤣
Hi Andie I think any of the striped fabric would work for the style arc dress and if the instructions are a bit sprace if you email them I'm sure they'll send you more detailed instructions x
Hi Jan. I’ve made a toile with the narrow stripes to test the fit. I’ll let you know what I think in the next vlog 😉If all goes to plan I’ll then make it in the bigger stripes 🥰

You are very welcome Kate 🥰
Love the look of the bigger stripe😍 look forward to seeing those makes
Thank you Nicky 🥰

Ive had a look too Ann 😉thank you for your lovely comment, the dogs love the beach 🥰
The wide stripe will be really good . Great vlog thank you x
You are very welcome, thank you Colette 🥰

Thank you gorgeous. The weather has been so hit and miss. The few nice days we’ve had we tried to make the most of it xx

That’s great advice about the Helga shirt, thank you Fiona 🥰
Hi Andie, I think the wide stripe fabric will look great, can’t wait to see it, lovely walk at the end, the beach looked gorgeous. ❤

Thank you so much Angela. They absolutely love the beach, my house is always full of sand! 🥰

You’re right Alissa. I’ve managed to get it out of the smaller stripe (as a toile) but minus the pockets and a shorter sleeve. X
I love that walkway with the stones!
Me too Colleen. The filming wasn’t so great walking over it though 😂🥰
Lovely vlog as always. Your donny shirt is super cute.
The smaller stripes would look great as Aria button down by Love Notions- you could play with stripes placement :)
Thank you so much Agata. I’ll check out the Aria, it’s not one I know, but thank you for the suggestion xx
❤ loved the ending on the beach too - what a beautiful location
Thank you Jan 🥰

Navy large stripe definitely will look stunning Andrea !!
Thank you Carol 🥰
Lovely makes! Lovely vlog! Thank you!❤

😂it gets very confusing for other people when I ask if they want a brew and they get a coffee! Thank you lovely 🥰
Hi Andie it was really nice to see you come back with some more TH-cam vlogs. Thank you for all the inspiration that you provide. Would live to see some of your crochets projects as well when you can spare the time !!
Thank you so much 🥰
I actually prefer the darker wider stripe. I think that would be stri3🤩
Striking
🤞For your Internet. That's crazy in this day and age! 22 hours!! 😮
I know! 😟
I’m leaning towards that one too 🥰
Dark stripe …. To me more deckchair like!😊
I thought the smaller stripe reminded me of the older style deck chairs 😂

Thank you Dee, great idea 🥰
Brew in the US usually means a beer.
I’ll have to remember that if I go to the US again 😉🥰
Elastic on bottom of black sleeves would mean you could push them up although it might crease badly? Will be interesting to see what you decide😊
Good point Claire, I think they would crease a lot if I pushed them up. I might just try elastic in one too see what it looks like 😉🥰

Do hope you go ahead with the bold stripes - and then I might just have to copy you . . .
