Happy New Year Andie. Lovely to see you back & I'm excited to see all your sewing & knitting. I've now knitted 2 whitmoors since to recommended it for me to try as my first try of knitting in the round, I must admit I've really enjoyed a knit that you don't have to stitch up! Ive also taking the plunge & started Vlogging too, scary but i'm loving it🤣 Love your Fleur Top and think one without the peplum would be great. Hope you manage to fit in some lovely crafting time around your new job🥰

Andi, You are sew talented, please don't be discouraged with your fails, we all have them. Bag making gives me a break from fitting a bad pattern. There is some dissolvable thread available, it just dissolves in water and is great for trial fitting a pattern Please give some suggestions for us sewers, that would love to learn to knit. It would be a dream to be as talented as you are. Your knitting is so beautiful. I totally agree at how frustrating it can be, when a pattern goes wrong. I have decided, just recently that every pattern must be a muslin before cutting up my nice fabric. It takes more time, but it is a joy to have a nice ending. Simply Classic on You Tube might give you some tips on sewing leather, she uses glues and clips, and no pins.I think the right needle and thread makes a big difference in the sewing leather. Congrats on your new position, sorry you are working so much but that's life. The up side benefit is having the extra to do our hobbies. Good luck with your next project. I do have couple ideas that would save your pants . Please finish your bag, you are not very far away from having a completed useful carrier.

Totally in awe of your knitting. Despite having designed and produced knitwear for 35 years my skills are firmly in machine knitting ( the domestic version). So Looking forward to see more of your knitting. As for sewing… There are no mistakes, just design choices!🤗

Good to see you back. I often find when at first I make something I think I’ve done a not so good job on it. A while later I’ll go back, look at it and am pleased with it. It seems that one has worked so hard that you get discouraged and think you’ve made a poor project.

So glad to see this pop up . I was searching for channel and couldn’t find it. I loved your Christmas vlogmas so much I wanted to see it again. I like the caddy as it is… really nice make. Leather is pretty easy to see with. Just get a leather needle and potentially get a silicone foot, though I didn’t need it.

Omg I have been exactly the same made the sati skirt for Christmas ok,been knitting instead. I did the storm sweater currently finishing the siri cardigan ❤

That Fleur is fabulous and I love seeing your knitting, how would you rate the Whitmoor for difficulty? I’d love to give it a go but I’m no expert! P.s. Ah ha! There you are! I'm very happy to see you again. I enjoy your videos so very much. I also have lost my sewing MOJO but feel it's coming back. Quilting mostly. Making garments isn't fun after all the holiday goodies have caught up to me.🙄 I love that you show your knitting. I've made almost all of Amy Lowdens patterns and adore the one you are working on now. I MUST make it! Lol! Congratulations on the new job. I hope you enjoy it. So very nice to see you again. Well, things are already looking up in the new year. It's so nice to see you in your own vlog! I saw a peek of you recently in a Gayna Jane or Tales from Cuckooland vlog. I think she was at a knitting retreat and you were in the shot looking happy and vibrant. Your sweater is stunning. I want to learn to knit well enough to make one, too. Not sure if the Smitten Jacket by pattern emporium is what you are after, but the pattern’s & instructions by them are 2nd to none. Kate the owner does a whole video on what’s in the pattern. Hope this helps

You have been missed! Your jumpers are beautiful. I am currently knitting a Whitmoor Cardigan, but I'm a slow knitter, I'm too busy sewing usually. I am not great at sewing up my knitting, so that's a big bonus with the Whitmoor, al;[though the bamboo toothpicks at the end of each row can be a pain.

Hy Andy nice to see you HAPPY NEW YEAR .I used to work in a knitwear factory and I was a mender and sewed up from the right side picking one stitch from one side and one stitch from theother In between the V / V s if you know what I mean then pull together ,hard to explain pick a stitch from the middle of a V then the middle of a V on the other side ,give it a go you can’t see the seam when it’s done 🙏🙏
