I am about to cut out a Shelby. How did you find the sizing for that pattern? I find so many patterns are very oversized. Love your knitted tops. I have the Whitmoor pattern but not yet bought the yarn. Maybe I will hunt down some Sea Cell.

Love your new Indigo - I've made one with long sleeves before but now thinking a summer one would be nice. Both of the skirt fabrics have a great retro look to them, slightly 70's - very cool and stylish! 😀

Love that summer T with the lacy yolk area. My knitting style is just basic squares...... I wonder how difficult it would be to learn.

Love your Yvette dress. Style arc patterns always have a lot of ease. When I made mine I found that I didn't need to put the opening in the back - it just went over my head. The cuffs on the sleeves I found are a bit tight so I'm thinking of cutting them off and just hemming them or having a casing to thread elastic around. Loved seeing the rest of your makes ❤

Your sweaters are lovely. I envy your knitting skill.

I like to finish the inside waistband with bias binding. Lots of us need a sucky in skirt 😂

Really lovely makes - I would love to make the skirt, do you think Butterick 6744 is the same pattern? You can get the 6-12 size of your pattern in the UK but when I read the reviews realised their sizes don’t equate to ours! I always visit Truro fabrics on my numerous visits to Cornwall but get completely overwhelmed by the amount of fabrics, then give up! Stitches & Cream in Falmouth is my favourite yarn shop.

Lovely dresses. I was disappointed about missing the Nothern lights too and sat in garden till 12:30 on Saturday night just incase! If only it had happened Thursday night when we were actually in the air flying back from hols😢

I agree with the sewing bee comment, it really winds me up that the garments aren’t finished properly, perhaps we both suffer from a little o.c.d I know I definitely do 😂

That knitted top is not a “simple” top, it’s is fabulous and doesn’t look simple to me! It will look very nice with the skirt. You always choose such pretty fabrics. I love the navy dress as well. You have been very busy. Your knitting is so professional. I have tried to knit and just can’t get the hang of it. Bravo Andie.

I was lucky enough in Christchurch New Zealand to see Aurora Australis at my gate. I have never seen it before and not usually visible where I live. In two weeks I will be up by the equator so will miss it.

Reminded me of a few decades ago, my husband ( only a boyfriend at the time😂) and myself had an evening picnic at the lake, altho the scenery wasn't quite as romantic as yours, it was fun. Still married 35+ years now.❤ loved your skirts. And you are super talented to knit also. I'm in awe. Those sweaters were amazing. I enjoy your channel and listening to you ramble😊.

We once when I was 18 or 20 we had Northern Lights here in Austin, Texas. We are in South Central Texas. They must have been absolutely breathtaking in areas further North. I am lots older now, and haven't seen another. I liked your sewing and knitting. I loved your photos.

Style Arc confusing 😂😂😂. How could you think that??? Haven’t made mine yet so this is very useful. Love the Indigo especially the button up back. The final skirt fabric is gorgeous. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my query about the neckline on the Marnie and the Emma blouse. I think now I will go for the Emma blouse. I have this beautiful Lise Tailor viscose that I have been hanging onto for ages until I find just the right pattern. Loved seeing your little dogs out in the woods too.

I love style arc directions- I find they fit me well. The directions are to the point and allow me to think a bit. I’ve made that pattern, I used scraps to make it. Once you have the pattern pieces cut out you may be able to get it out of less yardage.

Couldn't resist Andie. I had to go on Galston Mills website and buy some of that navy fabric for a summer top and also another piece of patchwork type fabric for a tiered skirt. Enjoyed your vlog, especially the dogs having a great time. Nice to see Cornwall again on a lovely day.

Andie, your black top turned out just lovely. I used to work at a school. It's the perfect color! LOL Black, gray, navy blue were all great colors for school but not really me. The Style Arc pattern has a lovely shape. It looks like it will be a fun sew. I have the Style Arc Jema Panel Dress that I've been dreaming over Originally I thought panels in different sized ginghams, then I considered stripes, and I've also considered chambray in two shades but with the seams sewn wrong sides together so they fray on the outside. Too many options and too many fabrics already in my queue right now! Good luck with your plans. I've missed your videos the past few months. I'm glad you're back.

I actually prefer the darker wider stripe. I think that would be stri3🤩

Hi Andie. I loved your dog walking footage and listening to the birds twittering away in the woods. I've made both the Yvette (StyleArc instructions don't scare me) and the Helga, and love them both. The Helga has quite a lot of 'swing' at the back which I don't love so I adjusted the pattern to reduce it, but the neckline is really nice and the construction is different and fun. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Hello so great to see you and have a chat You definitely need to watch Cara and sew sew mad She has made some lovely blouses and they would definitely be suitable for linen and linen blends Some amazing patterns I have just made 4 linen tops I have used a linen cotton blend Here in Canada 🇨🇦 it's called montego linen blend beautiful It washes great and not really bad for wrinkles lol Happy sewing 🪡 🧵 ✂️ 💓 Take care
