Great video Mitch...really well done. I don't even have a deck and watched it start to finish! Most relatable part for me? 10:47 "...'cause you know that's gonna' happen". Yes, I sure as hell do! 😉😎👍
Thanks Chris 👍 I am trying to get to a point when the whole video is action packed but it takes a lot of time and this summer seems busier than I remember 😵💫🤔Thanks for checking out the video 😁👍
💥 Fun intro! I’ve got a 1/2 cordless impact and it works awesome for removing blades. I’m still running my original blades, I can’t believe how long they’ve lasted. *Keep on tractoring!*
Great info and editing there's a few things I do differently but my new Kubota videos won't be released till next spring. I stick to car repair, bobcat etc this late in the season.
From the owner's manual for these decks: Mower deck spindle torque 72-87 lbs-ft. I didn't write it down, but I'm thinking the nut was 29mm. I'll have to check on that again. 2 tips for hooking up the PTO: As you discovered, sliding in from the back of the tractor makes it a lot easier for connecting the mid-shaft. I also remove my drawbar (pull the pin and pull out the bar- easy peezy) to keep from getting jabbed in the chest/middle. I use a big piece of cardboard and lay it on the driveway and it really makes sliding under the tractor super easy AND keeps me from grinding/sanding the heck out of my back.
@@MJADoingStuff I bought a 30 mm socket for the job. Yesterday I ordered a 26 mm socket for that blasted screen I had to clean as part of the 1500 hour transmission oil change. After all the work, the screen was clear for the second time. At 500 I said to it, "I'll see you in a thousand hours."
@@rodcros Wow you are really put on the hours. I am glad to hear you have been enjoying your tractor. I am guessing it has been pretty reliable so far? Thanks for watching the video. 😁👍🚜💨☀️
Hey Mitch, Hope all is well and your not working to hard. Great job on the video. I have an extra deck for sale if you want it. LOL I like your trick for getting the mower deck on and off. I'll have to try it out. I power washed my mower deck this spring, that grass is tough to get off. Keep up the awesome work. Have a great weekend. Take care and all the best.
Thanks Kyle 👍 I am still practicing and learning how it edit 😂. I don’t pressure wash it cause I like mowing wet grass too keep the dust down. So for me it doesn’t help. Did not look to bad for 2 years. Yep working like crazy probably till November. Take care and keep putting out videos 🍺😁👍
If your good with the grinder (I'm not so good) you can flip the mower deck over and give the blades a quick sharpen with out even taking them off. Saves a couple steps.
I think you make going on and off with the deck look too east, ive always heard what a pain it is!. Audio sounds great. Keep in mind that the receiver will shut off after being idle for a period of time. Ask me how i know lol.
@@HillsideAcresYep I am not sure if all the extra setup is worth it for everything maybe just going to use it when I am to far for the camera mic to pick up my voice 🤔
With turf tires I don't think there is room for me to reach in from behind the way you did. It would be great to have two hands in there, though. Nice video using the loader. I use a chain and the arms of the auto shop lift for the same purpose. Be sure to use hooks, not a knot, as a knot can come undone and drop the tractor.
@@MJADoingStuff This morning I reassembled the deck and installed it quite easily, thanks to the car hoist lifting the front of the B7510 on a chain, and especially because you provided the hint that I can use both hands on that devilish PTO hookup if I crawl in from behind. I'll be taking the deck off for maintenance much more frequently now.
Sweet! I knew someone would have the answer. For some reason we couldn’t find it in the manual anyway. Thanks for letting me know I probably put 100 ft lbs on it 🤣👍
Your method of removing and reinstalling the deck by using the loader is a great idea Mitch. Enjoyed the full watch. See you for the next one.
Thanks Gary👍 And thanks for checking out the video I need to catch up on so watching time just been crazy busy this summer 😁👍

Thanks for the information 👍 and I like cardboard to it works great for tight places. Have a great day 😁👍

Took me a 2 foot 1/2" wrench plus a pipe extender to get my blade bolts off.
