It's not that you have to it's just an option if you want to change your oil longer for oil change you can always do oil analysis and be safe about it. You can use it every oil change if you want to I personally do because my car is a turbocharged car and that has a lot more oil cooking. Also if you have a diesel vehicle with turbos I recommend doing the flush every oil change. If I had a regular motor with no turbo I think I would just do it the first time I switched to the signature series Amsoil👌
Hi from Oamaru South island New Zealand. I drain oil then replace with cheap filter and fill with new cheap oil. I then run till hot then tip in cleaner to idle. Then drain.
I wouldn't put a cheap filter on. I also wouldn't use low quality oil that would be mineral oil the mineral oil has a lot more friction and will leave carbon deposits inside the motor. Which is totally different than a full synthetic that can be called full synthetic when it's 25% synthetic or more. Definitely not when it comes to Amsoil. Full Synthetics degrade much quicker than the 100% Synthetics Amsoil puts out. You'd be wasting money changing signature series at 5K miles. If 5K miles is your thing there are other versions of Amsoil you can purchase, but signature series is top of the line that can go anywhere from 10K - 25K miles, and there have been lab tests done to prove this.

How often would you recommend the engine flush?
I did it one time about 50,000 miles ago

When you put in that oil flush, does the oil level need to be a bit lower to accommodate it?
As long as you don't overfill the oil you're fine.

That car definitely needs new seals, bunch of dirt and oil underneath of it. Going to be loosing alot of that liquid gold.

I need to try that engine flush on my cummins isx 15L it holds almost 11 gallons in the pan. How much flush is needed for 11 gallon oil capacity?
I would use one bottle flush per 10 quartz.
If it was my truck I would use five bottles of engine flush
