Nice. This is really minor, but I think on mkwii the button to reverse and drift are the same for some reason, so after hitting a wall you can press the A button and trigger instead of A and B to start up again. I think it’s less awkward than pressing two buttons at once
In MKWii by hitting the brake and accelerate button at the same time you just start a drift outright, it's a very weird mechanic imo. Didn't know a+trigger did the same thing, but either way good advice for others.
I dont understand when i configure the gamecube controller settints it still dosent let me turn i figured it out go to emulated remote and select it to none then configure your gamecube controller settings

I can't get the d-pad or joystick to work on my xbox controller, all other buttons work except those :/
You can use the x button to backspam items more comfortable instead of relying on dpad down

what do you mean your screen looks somewhat different? did you follow the dolphin setup in the description?
I use an Xbox Series Controller and use the classic controller input.
