I agree, and his lyrics will hardly set the world alight but, I think New Order are awesome and have been one of the most influential bands and have been one of my absolute favourites over the past 35years!
haha! Funny! 👏 Realistically, except for Peter Hook when he was with the band, New Order has always been a group of painfully awkward introverts trying to function in a business that's overflowing with extroverts, introverts who have learned to 'fake it' on stage, and narcissists. 😆. Heck, they're staring down at their instruments, or looking away from the audience, or hiding behind sunglasses (and/or a haze of drugs)...and perish the thought of making eye contact with the audience!..lol !! Really, back in the late 80s/early 90s, they easily could have passed for a high school band nervously playing in the school auditorium, in front of their friends for the first time. lol 😆
I mean, seriously, original members seem to have not bothered to learn any new musical skills since about 1982. Gillian on the synth looks just as tentative and mystified by the keys as she did on TOTP performing Blue Monday. It's pretty standard for many indie bands: most members have never had a lesson on their instruments and the long term success they enjoy using their own very limited skills means they have little incentive to improve. Like U2, OMD and many others who rarely play other people's music - it's because their threadbare musicianship would be harshly exposed. A difficult truth, but...

I Miss Peter. I mean.... a part of NO has gone... and won't be the same without him.
Just like life, things change and this sounds great.
Great song! But the audience was awful in this presentation... Too bad... That's a pity....
I've never seen a less enthusiastic keyboard player. It's as if she was having sex missionary on the day of her father's funeral.

And?
@@emfraridades7261 Well, that was an insightful and witty riposte to my comment.
NO is not NO without Hookie !
I'm a huge hookie fan but i have to disagree with you! Great son and great album!
