Rhythm and stealth takes me straight back to the night bus from Hackney to London Bridge, got me through some long nights with Swords, for me being still on a heavy rotation over 20 years later.
That is correct. They are one of the OG's of Bass in general..heard a story that played in night club in late 9p's and the bass was so powerful that the rafters almost collapsed.
@@fsol83 yep it turns out that they only found out in the last 5-10 thst their sound guy was half deaf… hence the legendary crazy loud shows they used to be known for
A true masterpiece of a track. So deep, emotional and unique. I discovered so much new music after listening to this. Really got me into darker trip hop and the likes of Massive Attack, Portishead, Unkle, Tricky, DJ Krush, DJ Shadow, Amon Tobin, Ghostpoet, Allflaws
fantastic, i always loved this song! i am presently listening to leftfield as if no other music exists. anyone been to the arcadia event before? just wondering what its like? i'm tempted to get tickets for the leftfield evening, but don't usually go to gigs like that and feel a bit anxious about it... i haven't been to a dance club for about 18yrs!
Swords...so treffend... Wir müssen für die Demokratie kämpfen! Die demokratischen Länder müssen ihre Werte beschützen! Und diese Nummer ist im übertragenen Sinne eine Hymne. Denn auch ich werde mein Schwert an der Seite tragen!
The whole early nineties electronica explosion was incredible, those bands took the work of the pioneers to a whole new level. Looking back on it I was incredibly lucky , I saw some amazing bands in different settings and danced my arse off all the way!
btw, I am a huge Leftfield fan, BUT this particular performance is pretty weak to be fair, singer is out of tune all the way..nevermind, but if you wanna talk facts, there's one for you ;)
+Jig Saw I can hear it and yes it's the full 59 minutes, thanks, but l'm getting no video. If it has video then l dont know what lm doing wrong :O( Thanks again :O)
Leftfield are more consistent (their third album Is their only low point imo) but don't release very often whereas underworld have alot of misses but there's more of a chance for them to release a belter (their 3 most recent tunes are so good)
It's just a live session from the BBC, not really a concert I think it's bbc 1extra radio, they get some great artists on not many come close to leftfield though.
The song is very much like the original sans that middle part that they changed entirely and the late part in which the drum signature change was clearly premeditated.

Remember seeing them at Cardiff Uni and Glastonbury, they were the best of times
Absolute beast of a track.
This is the very best i have ever heard from Leftfield. Absolute monster of a track!!! 4.36 on wards, WOW!!
Razerwolfe Gaming yea that’s an amazing part , my favorite part of this video
I agree with you 100%, this is absolutely outstanding, love it ! I knew this was special right away, killer version
The whole thing, agreed bro..
Disagree. Track itself is a classic monster. No need for vocal unnecessary addons.
@@highlander5849 What have you 'edited'? A full stop missing there. Last sentence. Pay attention, editor.
You don't know good music until you know Leftfield... end game.
Mic drop.

Fuck yeah
Art :)
очень красиво.
Does anyone know where you can get an audio version of this live show
The original version is sang much better to be honest by Nicole Willis. Still a good version though.
I was expecting her too, but this version was pretty interesting.
Agree 100%
No one does dance music better than the Brits....fact
its true ;)

Fact of your own perhaps, you know there's a place called Detroit right? at least pay your respect to the originators you fucking nationalist clown ;)
..You would still be playing your mandolins and flutes if it weren't for the Germans and Detroit lol

Great session.
Are you planning on showing the whole thing in one flowing piece as it happend ?
Thanks :O)

+Jig Saw Many thanks......but l was looking / hoping for the whole hour of video as it happend. I watched it live and would like to watch it again :O)

hmm my question is: whos better? leftfield OR underworld???
Both are great bands.
Comparison is the theft of joy.
Just enjoy it

I need this full concert, is it available anywhere?

takes to much to build but what a nice vibe this tune has

Did the drummer start a measure early on this live version lol? The chords and vocal track are out of time with the rythem track
The song is very much like the original sans that middle part that they changed entirely and the late part in which the drum signature change was clearly premeditated.
Has this always been a male singer? Even in the original track? I always thought this was a woman!
+AnotherKentPaul Nicole Willis did the vocals on the album
I believe the chap in this vid is actual lip syncing.
He's not.
these guys work in the studio next to me - believe me, he's not lip syncing
@@luttefisk why get a guest vocalist to lip sinc? The song is originally sang by a woman by the way so what was he lip sincing to?
