I do spot repair which is a lot harder, but takes less time, I can get panels finished quicker but this looks way more fun we only paint full panels rarely
Super job friend... Is this Spies 480 series water base? And which clear did you use? For me Spies and Standox is the best materials... But the only negative is that at winter you must bake the clears because if you don't, next day isn't dry...
Yes this is permahyd hi-tec water base. In this video I used the 8096 clear. The winter part won’t bother me. I bake every job anyways. I love this system so far. Have been spraying it for 3 weeks and am very impressed.

We are keeping Sikkens for a little. Not sure if we will keep it or get rid of it though. But I will be using Axalta more often. I have only sprayed Sikkens one time in the last 3 weeks
I love spraying sikkens clear. Just about every sikkens clear I sprayed was amazing. Lay down nice and looks great after bake. Spies is very nice as well. But I think sikkens takes the cake with clear.

I like Spies. I've been using it for the last couple of years. I used to use prospray and chromabase. Spies seem to match much better.

Why u stop the sikkens ? I think paint sikkens more better from axalta cromax for matching color any way good luck

PPG has a much superior color match, much less drawbacks than wet on wet as well, don’t fool yourself

What's the psi you use for u base and drop coat??and also you're clear coat ?
25 for base and drop.
