This is really well put together, I would suggest adding some music to the background

It’s natural to have a silent moment. I embrace it actually. There’s going to be moments of silence in conversation and it’s hard to avoid, so just relax. I like to gather my thoughts and if I speak and the other person doesn’t really respond to what I say then I just move on and go about my day.
I do have a coworker who is very chatty and fills in silence with a lot of ramble and random subject matter and sometimes I’ll just nod my head to confirm I’m “listening” but she’s not talking about something I’m genuinely interested in, so I can’t really respond to it.

I don't have an issue with awkward silence...it's the people around me. 🤷‍♀There first question 5 seconds into silence is "Why you so quiet?" or "What's wrong?" Ugh!

Byron, why is that we do something right after we end a coversation? For example, I’ve noticed that myself and others will drink water or grab their phones right after they end a conversation? Or when we feel there is awkward silence?
